If you've been active on the discord you would see that people have been dying for the community to become active again, and now we have a solution. If you're going to speak upon "toxicity" you cannot forget to acknowledge the fact that OldCP has had its fair share of toxic eras as well. You should not let a few misbehaved individuals represent an ENTIRE community. We will obviously filter and vet out the users as they join, SecurityGuy does an amazing job at keeping the tomfoolery to the minimum and I will 100% back him in his efforts to keep it that way and I'm sure the current staff members will be on board as well.
You make a good point regarding the discord server. I admit I am only in the P3D server and have not seen much in terms of a desire for oldcp activity. And I'm sure you would be keeping a count on who joins. I just don't personally believe this is a good decision because the idea of armies is to gain influence and notoriety and that would be nearly impossible here.
I speak on toxicity because almost every army I have been a part of or have witnessed have had negatives that have drowned out the positives for me, LT included. I have yet to see a truly good member of a CP army that isn't 1) clouded by bias 2) led by rash decisions or 3) easily influenced by others. While I am still relatively new to armies [2017] and have not interacted with any in almost a month, I still have seen quite a few things that make me hesitate on allowing them access to this community. Mainly regarding pedophilia, racism, sexism, doxxing and inappropriate intimate remarks.
However, I'm willing to watch how it plays out and I'm sure you'd do a fine job at handling any potential situations that arise.

I agree though, we need to bring more content here about OldCP, perhaps some tutorials/beginners guides for commands, explaining the Empire & ranks, etc. I will do my best to post some helpful tutorials to help out.
