Just to let you guys know this IS a true story. This was back in July.
It was July 11th or 14th, back in the ye old days of OldCP. I had been on talking with some of my friends Journey and Bacon about some things then I saw Damen. He told us to follow him to the coffeeshop which at the time was a clam shell and we all gathered in a group. Some of the parts are still a blur but the first task... That is the one to remember. Whenever everybody was situated inside the Coffeeshop he had explained what this was about. This is what I had remembered him saying, I don't know if this is completely accurate or not but this is what I remembered him saying "Welcome to the first ever OldCP moderator competition! This is a 3 day challenge consisting in a lot of hard work. This will be a tough 3 days for some of you, for others you will rise to the top. Now there can only be 1 winner, so good luck!" And now here is that first task. As soon as the first task was about to start he said what task 1 was. He said "Task 1- Form your own team. The biggest team will be the winning team for task 1. I tried to get Journey to join my team but she had already made a team. I had decided to make a team called... The black hoodies. I am still not certain how many people had started off on my team but what I do know is that I had won the first task inside Mod comp history. After Damen had announced me as the winner of the first task everybody thought it was over and I had won, but we had continued. After day 1, Journey had won the stage.
Me and Journey were talking the next day and I decided to hand the reigns of the Black hoodies over to another user on the team, and went onto join Journey with the Freehawks. Eventually she had won stage 2 and I sadly could not attend the final night but then I was confused when I saw that there were 2 winners of the competition. I noticed it was iLily. She was a good friend of mine as well. But she got demoted, I still don't know why but I think she was abusing. Anyway back on topic, after Journey's win the legend of the Freehawk had only just begun.
Part 2 coming soon! Unfortunately I could not attend the 2nd competition and because I don't think the FreeHawks attended I will just skip to the September mod comp next!
