Today was the Joust of Death, a new event that Damen held in order to select the next Warlord. Competitors in this event were selected by The Passing. The Passing was the challenger in this event. He had OP health and was quite THICC as shown below. The person who landed the deadly blow to him would become the next Warlord or Warlordette. The event started out as a 1v1. The competitors with the least amount of fighting experience were supposed to be selected first. As it is hard to judge the amount of fighting experience someone has, it is hard to say if this turned out to be true.

The first person to fight The Passing was iBlue. Sadly, he did not fight for long before his passing. He only managed to do 5 damage to him before his demise. Part of iBlue's swift death was probably because he did not use any medkits. It was not announced that the use of medkits was allowed in this event until after he died.

Jenna was the next person to have a go at defeating The Passing. She fared pretty well against him and it looked like she could be the winner of the event. She got The Passing down to 32 health! Sadly, Jenna was also defeated by the great brute!

Mance was The Passing's next opponent. He, much like iBlue, did not last long against the overgrown penguin. I am not sure of the amount of health The Passing had left after his scuffle with Mance. I believe that it was in the mid 20s.

After this round, The Passing was healed. The next challenger, Sid, was faced with bringing him down from full health. The battle against Sid was the most intense part of the competition. There was even some trash talking between the two during it. Sid got him down to having just 6 health left, which is the equivalent of him being hit three times. Unfortunately, she had to get her laptop charger before she could finish the fight. She asked for him to wait and ran off into the audience in hopes that this would keep him from killing her. This was the end for Sid though as The Passing decided to attack her in the crowd of people as she was one hit away from death. By doing this he also ended up hitting two others, a very controversial move.


This round got more chaotic as it progressed. It ended up being more of a free for all round as Damen encouraged people to jump into the battle and to turn against each other to make things more interesting. I don't think that he expected so much cooperation from the competitors. Everyone focused on trying to kill The Passing rather than taking out any of their other opponents. This round, being the final round, was really exciting, as the Warlord was to be chosen based on who got the final blow. All the extra people jumping in made it more intense to watch as The Passing's health became less and less with each passing second.
Mance decided that he did not want to be Warlord though and said that had only competed for fun. Damen asked him to select a person to be Warlord. Mance decided to give the rank back to Randy who had not died while defending his title in the joust. Congratulations to Mance for defeating The Passing! Congratulations to Randy for getting to retain his rank!

• From the death of The Passing came life. Everyone was revived today directly after the Warlord joust! Hope everyone will enjoy having their dead accounts back, the previous total revive was in January after Dagor Dagorath.
