ways to fix cz by door
• keep it consistent, the inconsistency is dead and boring
• stick to one plot, the rotating storylines per week or whatever is confusing, one day there is mysmuggle and disney then there is forest boy stuff then there's gru luring in users to become minions
• remove the op things such as lightning and health, stop giving lightning to random users and make things along those lines strictly for crimezone characters
• make weaponry in /jr royalarmory cheaper and make military harder to obtain, make it so you need to be of a higher rank (stop providing random island knights entire blown militaries with nukes)
• fix the combat system, refer to hashir's post:
https://forums.damenspike.com/discussion/59808/1#p410228
• find a way to make it less confusing. 40% of voters found crimezone to be a 10 on the scale of being confusing. (18 people out of 45) and 87.5% of voters found crimezone to be over 5 on the scale of being confusing (35 people out of 45), the numbers should tell you something is wrong
• deal with everyone fairly, stop picking and choosing who you want to trial, and stop trialling if you already know the outcome. take the time you put in to useless events and events you don't even do to put in to stuff people are gonna enjoy (not rly a cz/combat suggestion but DO IT ANYWAYS)
• don't get people involved that don't wanna be involved (e.g staff)
• stop spawning bots. it's boring, it's laggy, it's lazy. do more.
(rip dice </3)
thx!

Good points.
I do think that if people look closer at the different CZ they will be able to see that it does overlap more than you'd think (not gru cz but that was funny). It's obviously always going to be difficult to keep track of something which happens a good 3/4 times a week on average but I think maybe a more set in stone plan could be in place and keep things more coherent for everyone.
The way I see it, the CZ rn is a bit too made up on the spot. I guess this has positives and negatives, positives being that it allows users to influence things by joining in and contributing dialogue to scenarios in a way that stops everything from feeling rigid (although not many seem to do this and then people complain that they aren't involved), negatives being it can go a bit all over the place like I mention. IMO if story CZ was only 2 times a week, but had a plan for various different outcomes then it would keep the story's ability to flow and adapt whilst maybe gaining some clarity as more time would have been spent on planning things towards a conclusion/the next event.
I don't know what actually goes on BTS with CZ, but it is pretty easy to get involved if you become your own character in a way that makes the general storyline more interesting. I'm convinced Gamerzone happened bc Gamer actually though he was Accal at one point as he was so good at playing that particular character, despite not being a "CZ actor".

Agreed fully. And to expand on Jdutr's points, I think the CrimeZone writer(s?) should think of the story/plot more like a Dungeon & Dragons GM would: Lay out a base story to follow, but be sure to allow for some variation from user interaction, should user's wish to become involved. Doing this isn't always so easy, but it is oh so worth it.

There is a storyline, only it has taken 7 years to complete and many of you have forgotten it. It will finish and nothing can stop it.

well yeah, of course we have forgotten it, it's been 7 years and it constantly stops and starts and then new people are introduced and killed off and then bots spawn and then there's a war and then pythas comes back.

That's one way of putting it LOL
The stories take years to complete. Perhaps I'll make a summary of what I know.
