Lowkey I just had a random ass thought and got the urge to talk about it so ye just keep reading

Y'all remember when death was something that actually shocked everyone? Even when it was just an innocent user who had nothing to do with any sort of fighting? There were actual motives behind it and it wasn't killing for no reason. For example, I remember Adawg shot Hashir a while back right after Hash became King of the North or something... Or Abu and Mattyvacc attempting to assassinate Malorie, the princess at the time, gettin everyone so invested and shocked that this happened. There was a motive behind these and it actually made things fun and sparked something in the community which made the game fun. That seems to be completely gone now. Now it's just Icevanka begging the admins every single day for his GoldCrossGuard and savage hoodie just because he made a new account and someone decided to kill him literally 2 minutes after he logs on for the first time...

I think users blame the administration too much for taking action against users for killing for no reason and then other users get mad at us for not giving them stuff back that the merge doesn't restore. Just straight up abusing and getting disarmed is one thing but just ruining the fun by killing innocent users for no reason at all and making our lives harder is another thing but we can't really do anything about it other than put out an AOS order. The excuse is always "what's the point of evil and weapons if we can't kill?" Y'all really take the fun out of a user being killed. People log in, see a dead body, and it's just another day. The thrill has been completely taken out of weapons and killing just because someone decides to kill an innocent user for no reason.

"The game is dying, why not just kill users?" Fam... you're doing your part in making the game die by taking away from the one thing that makes this game fun, and that thing is death. What happens when someone kills on OldCP? A trial. Is there any point in trialing? No... You know why? Because there would be trials every single day and it completely takes the fun out of them and is just a pain for the admin hosting it because people will interrupt with the same excuses talkin bout "the whole purpose of being evil is to kill. This game is biased and dumb. No wonder people quit." Trials are supposed to be rare and wild to watch but this has even taken the fun out of those. We end up just putting users on AOS or KOS and not even trialing anymore just for them to go like "lol k" and log on an alt when the game is active but then kill even more innocents when nobody is online.

I think y'all see where I'm coming from. I don't have a problem with killing but yall mans do it too much to the point where its just ruining everyone's fun and taking the thrill out of it. Deaths during CZ events are fine, death in war is fine, but the unnecessary ass deaths are just annoying. Mans just blames Damen for the game dying when they're the ones who are doing a huge part in making the game die too. Before yall say it, this isn't just me favouring him and sayin it cuz he's bossman.. This is straight facts. Sure he may have areas where he can improve but everyone does... All admins and mods, and even the users including yall who always make posts blaming others and sayin what changes need to be made.

But ye idk man let's say we decide that there should be peace between evil and non-evil users because that's what Swine offered on behalf the new Walmart version of Pythas named Cyrus. There will literally be no peace, I can tell you that right now. Every few days there will be reports of good users being killed by evil even though they join together and become the new wood or something. The unnecessary killing is something that's expected at this point rather than being something that would actually be a shock and lead to more events that would actually get users interested. It's just the same thing on a different day.

2 days later: We cant arrest or kill this user because they have a ring. Also they killed 3 more people and spawned bots in the South. They're also really OP so we outta luck lets nuke them LOL

I don't just mean to go after evil users because there are some specific good users who will just go out of their way to kill anythin that's associated with evil. Again, it ruins cz and the fun for everyone else. Let the mans talk and actually have a purpose on the game rather than just killing them off the second you see them. If you're gonna fight them, make sure you have a reason to because even now most of u good guys somehow have weapons like daggerdoom and CLSJUSTICE, and make these cz characters log off because they dont wanna die from ur ass. This is why us admins are SOOOO hesitant on giving people like Akkar the op ass weapons he keeps asking us for because he's entitled to them apparently.

But ye wat im tryna say is people just kill too much and take the thrill out of it then complain and give the admins crap for doing something about it. Just stop ruining the fun man. Stop killing innocents and stop killing off cz the second u hear they're associated with evil. But honestly, we may just be at the point of no return and the damage has already been done, and people will just keep killing cuz the interest has already been taken out of it

This is just an admins perspective but im sure lots of users feel the same way. I hope both evil and good users learn something from this. Also if i said ur name in this or targetted a point directly at u, don't take it personally its not that deep

I especially agree that needless cz deaths also exist, namely when evil cz characters show up to talk. They're almost always killed by certain users, and that ends the cz for that day early.

I find it hypocritical that some people who accuse evil of killing innocents, proceed to kill unarmed evil cz accounts. Their reasoning? "They're evil". Like, that's just not how it works mate.

I also want to address the good guy version of this. Certain people have been sailing to Das, and killing evil dudes left and right, even when they haven't done anything. We're expected to abide by Southern laws, but the same people who tell us that go to Das and disregard our rules entirely. Just because we don't have Das or Prov arrest commands, doesn't mean you can just do whatever you want.

Yeah I hate when loads of people die on oldcp, its annoying. Stop killing ay. Lets be slow to attack, quick to talk things out.

Although I will say that excessive death has always been a thing. Mass killing has gone down a bit since 2015 which is good.
