So, yesterday me and Matthew (Alatar) were talkin and had a very COMEDIC idea,
what if we made fun of "Why I hate [insert]" videos/posts that float around the web!


Truly, our post about "Why I hate Women" which was literal satire to the very core,

COULDN'T, and SHOULDN'T be taken LITERALLY... RIGHT?, RIGHT???


Today I received a great MSG from Rookie, my friend which was users complaining I'm MISOGYNISTIC

Let me phrase this in words you can understand;

I am not Misogynistic, I make jokes like that which are funny with context.
Wanna know who else makes these JOKES.

DAMEN THE VERY MAN CALLING ME AND I QUOTE, PEOPLE

"AN ANNOYING HIGHSCHOOLER YELLING THE SAME STUFF OVER"

HAS MADE MULTIPLE MISOGYNISTIC JOKES, UNDER THE GUISE OF

SATIRE


And now, you must be thinking...

"Well Wilf! Surely Damen wouldn't try to seem like a better man, after making the exact same JOKES!"

In our community, there's this underlying bias that if you make any sort of joke that happens to inconvenience a certain GROUP OF PEOPLE.

You will be declared certain things!



So, yeah.

Here's my lesson;

If it were me and I saw some post called "Why I hate Women"

and the text inside was, and I kid you not. A face book post about a poorly transcribed BIBLE quote.

I don't think i'd rally the horde.

Maybe using Loki as a target over and over and over and over and over again wasnt funny (never was) and maybe you just thought you were being funny.

being satire or ironic with you OWN context )which you didn't give to us until now... which didnt even make the post funnier..( still doesnt help your case.
This post just seemed like an attempt to cover up your sexist behavior and bullying towards Loki.... which is completely annoying whereas Loki gets harassed a lot. You just hate to see women have any form of power and you're just jealous.
You can say you're not but that post wouldn't have been made if you weren't.

You say you were joking? The way you word this posts makes it seem like you're attempting to justify what you did with what others do, which is not and never has and never will be acceptable. 'Satire - a lesson in shut up'? Really? 'Takin' a joke is like taking a compliment. shut up and take it'. This is not a joke. And even if it is, you're disgusting for thinking its humorous. Jokes are things that make people laugh, not things that hurt people. Did you stop to acknowledge how she could've felt from this? Stop thinking its funny when it isn't. Just stop. Alright? Just stop. Stop being rude to Loki. Stop being rude to others. Kindness isn't difficult to comprehend.

Maybe writing Loki twice wasn't the best approach, but imma have to call out something here. Alatar using a copypasta, one which is used to actually mock the person who said it in the first place, doesn't make him a sexist.

Get a grip on yourselves. Acting like he declared war on the female gender, when he posted 1 sentence that doesn't even make sense.

Like seriously, how are you so offended by the phrase "all girls do is eat hot chip and lie"?

No you didn't bc you ran to post here to protect someone from a "TOXIC THREAT" that hadn't existed.

Ok I just want to say that Wilf, people weren’t taking about your post. The one people have the problem with is Alatars, which happened to have the same name as yours.

Alatar’s was removed for a few reasons such as sexist and misogynistic comments as well as making a rather toxic “joke” about me, aka listing me as two reasons for hating women (which I just want to point out right now, I would have taken the same actions no matter whose name was listed). All the ladies in this community that saw the post that I spoke to did not find his post to be funny. Rather it was just down right offensive and rude.

I hope this helps to explain what people are talking about.
