I've seen a lot of different usernames on the DSGHQ platforms for the past few years. They can be funny, real, weird or creative. I've always wondered though, where or how did you guys come up your names?

I'll go first,

I joined club penguin when I was around 8 years old. My lucky number has always been 11 (still is lol). Most of you might think I named myself after the colour red, since rouge means red in French and.. well, I always wear red.

Nope, I actually used to be a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and of course,



Rouge the Bat!

After a while, I sort of just integrated the colour red into my waddling life and went with it.

During my days in Primary/Elementary school, I was best friends with a kid named Harry. He was very popular and I was jealous. To which i found Club Penguin and created the name "Harry15514" I then joined Oldcp and used the same name.

A year later Adawg offered me to join the REALHAWKS, I joined and changed my name to Harryrhawk.


Fast forward a few years, I hated the name as it completely lost its whole meaning, and It felt weird using a very common name that isn't mine. So I died on Harryrhawkss And thus Created EIVEN.

oh well at first i used storybooth and i obviously got that from the yt channel. then i changed it to narcissa. honestly i was just looking at flower names (for whatever reason?) and narcissa was one of them. ig i just liked it

Too big of a secret to be revealed

Tom is my real name and I got the nickname 'Tommo' by my irl friends after reading 'Private Peaceful' many years ago in school.

Before this, I got 'Tom080' from my real name alongside a completely random choice of numbers. I created it as my first CP account and then used the same name when I joined OldCP in 2015.

laka is basically an alternation of my real name aka Lada

My names pretty obvious, no exciting story to it. Loki because I love the villain and the mischief. When I first joined oldcp I didn’t intend to stay and just wanted to pretend to be Loki sometimes. But obviously that didn’t work out too well. And now I’m here!

Zendaya2408 - I was 6. Zendaya was one of my role-models. 2408 was my favorite number.
ZendayaII-IIII - I died 4 times. I did not understand Roman Numerals.
Rootbeer55 - For some reason I was obsessed with Rootbeer. 55 has no meaning.

Zen10 - Someone made a joke about Ben10 but put my name in it

There's two possible ways that I found this name 'Terry'. 1) It could've been nickname for my cat when I was young, or 2) It was suggested to me and I decided to keep it. The 91 number may have been randomly suggested. As for 'DJ', it stands for the first letter of my first and middle name. I mainly used 'Terry91' from mid 2013 through mid 2016, then 'TerryDJ' since late 2016.

3) icevanka221- my sis and I were playing a game 2 yrs ago and we had to say the first thing that came to mind, she said icevanka so from then on I used it as a name.

4) Dr Phil Bob Mitchel dyslexia muggy bugsy humbug humbill dragon roll with spicy mayo on the side clarbell x-isaweirdname ESQ.com - SOOOOOOO It all started last summer people just said a random name and I added it on to my name so sure BTW THIS IS MY NICKNAME IF ANYONE WOULD EVER REMEMBER.

I actually had a few names before Alatar.

First I started out as MatTech; it was just name my grandmother came up with as an online name. Matt/Matthew is my real name.

Then I become Matt3401. It was an Xbox result that I got for my Xbox 360 and I used it for a while before joining OldCP.

On OldCP, I first went by Pain a good long while ago. Then I was ipbanned along the lines somewhere within that time, and returned several years later as "MatTheTem." This was around the time Charles became emperor and several people migrated to RocketCP, and where I met Jesse, who was one of my best friends for years. We would talk to each other on Skype a lot.

He actually introduced me to Discord at some point, where I donned the name "MattPatt". Then "MattCatt". And then, my later returns as CaptainMatt.

Around this time I had gotten more and more into LOTR and Silmarillion lore, where I found that Alatar and Pallando were two blue wizards who had supposedly worked alongside Gandalf and the others. And so I donned the name I found most interesting; Alatar.
