Nice application, but in my opinion, you need a bit more experience. Masters on Forums is a whole different story than Penguin Watch on oldcp. Also, a XatChat mod is different then Oldcp Penguin Watch. You don't have the same abilities, and it's a whole different game/site. Maybe apply for knight first?

We all have ranks. Some people are rank 0. Some people are rank 5. Moderators are usually rank 5 and some are even rank 4. If I have learned one thing, your 'ranks', do not make you a person. Your choices do.You have to understand, no matter if we're rank 3 or rank 2 or rank 1, we're all people. Nobody should be treated differently because they look like a prep. Everybody should be treated the same.Everyone here is a parody.
Also, to all you War Knights out there. People can stay if they want to. Sure for safety reasons they shouldn't. And sure, they should go to the sides. But people make choices. They can die if they want, but they can stay. You may not know, but some people you send to jr troll could be in training. And people could be trained, but just not be a war knight. That means nothings different, except your a higher rank. Just because they haven't earned their weapons doesn't mean they don't have any experience. Just because they don't have weapons doesn't mean they can't do any better than you. And it's true. I've met people who aren't War Knights, but they know all of the commands. And their nice. They include everybody.
Everybody's different. In fact, look at some 'preps'. If you think preps are mean, you've been watching too many 'cp love stories.' You know, I've seen a lot of Mods and Knights turn peach-skinned penguins down in training. Which is completely unfair. And to those penguins who think you're some kind of Dramatic, pretty, mean, prep,tell someone. Nobody has the right to do that.
Even though we're different ranks, we're the same people-wise. Regular users should be allowed to stay, guard, and do what they want. Knights are there to protect and save, and don't think I'm not incredibly grateful for that, but users want to do want you want to do. Users want to guard, feel special and helpful. Knights, don't say 'Nope, we're armed. Leave it to us. We got the job. Go guard JR TROLL if you want to guard.' say, 'sure, we could use some help around here. Just be careful and guard at own risk.' I want to guard. It's my passion and just because I'm not a War Knight doesn't mean I can't. I can. We can.
Everybody, including you 'preps', make friends with people you never thought would be your friend. Make friends with knights, mods, admins. Don't feel like you can't be friends because your not the same rank. Don't ever feel like you can't talk to them, cause their like a God compared to you. Don't feel like your a piece of trash trying to talk to a diamond. Your the diamond, and the higher rank people who can't understand that are the trash.

I think you're making the right choice. I too, haven't been active on oldcp lately. It's not just us, either. Almost everybody I know is gone. If you need to focus on school and need to take a break, it's a great idea. When you have free time you might be able to squeeze in some oldcp.

Doesn't it get on your nerves how you make a app, then two mins later someone else makes one over yours? I have an idea. Someone who posts, the discussion should stay up for a hour. Which means no one can post something in the same subject for a hour. Then after the hour, whoever tried to post, their discussion will automatically be there. This way, the discussion has enough time to be viewed, and commented. Plus, it's fair.
If you don't understand, take it this way. If I got it my way, this discussion you are reading right now will be in Suggestions for a hour. Nobody could post in suggestions in my hour. You could comment-post, but not make a Suggestions Discussion.

Actually Cindie, we dot choose to make the users leave when we tell you to. These are orders from our commander. You may think we are just trying to push you out, but it is sometimes pur job to keep you out pf there.

Hey, does anyone here have a dog? My dog always eats grass. But, after he eats it, he always throws up and gets sick. He thinks he's a cow. To prevent your furry friend from getting sick, edible grass is the thing for you!
The grass, of course, isn't so edible for humans. Because we don't eat much grass.
. There should be a dog friendly grass. What we would do is, take out some chemicals from regular grass, put in some ingredients they make dog food with, add a nice bacon taste, make it healthy and safe, test it first, and vala! Grow it everywhere!
Next time dogs are hungry on a walk and take a quick snack, they'll eat some grass! And after they eat it, their breath would have the sent of Bacon. Who can resist that? I know I can't. I would want my dog to eat that grass.
