Was Achilles killed in the end or did he flee. Also I agree it didn't deserve capital punishment. Sorry about your show, hope you get promoted back.

Hello, first off I'd like to say welcome back - I'm not sure what compelled you to come back, but that in itself speaks a great deal on how impactful this community was to you.
Personally, when I look back to 6-7 years ago I too see the same amazing community you once got to experience. Trust me, OldCP and this community as a whole were amazing. There aren't many veteran users around here anymore who actively contribute to this community as they once had. I wouldn't say that this community is bad, it's just different. It has a completely different audience than it did years ago... to be honest, it isn't fair to compare 2013 OldCP to 2020 OldCP, they're not the same. Why? Well, as Damen said above many people simply moved on, and that once-beloved following of Club Penguin supporters has gradually declined, many of us are in our 20s...
With that said, we need people like you to support the community. Make recommendations, and help us build an even stronger community! You're a veteran user, and we need more of them. Although OldCP and this community will never reach the peak it once had, we can still have a good community. Instead of bashing at it, or simply saying "oh geez, this community is nowhere near its prime." Perhaps leave constructive criticism. Honestly, I'll say it again - something compelled you to come back to this community, you remembered it. That means Damen & the users impacted you positively, no? Then if that is the case, please help us in maintaining this community! Your words can really help us out. Sure you may no longer have that energy you did back then, but it wouldn't hurt for you to perhaps help out.
Again, welcome back.

Was your username the same as it is now? Just curious...
And I know what you mean, I agree, getting killed isn't inviting - trust me I know from experience. Regardless, I hope that doesn't ruin your whole perspective on OldCP. Perhaps instead of frowning upon being killed, why not experiment? Try to get within the little "war" that's going on. Perhaps you will then realize you actually love being involved in these OldCP "fights/battles", who knows, maybe you'll be a legend at killing the bad guys! And no need to thank me for replying, I felt compelled.
My old DSGHQ name was ScratchyJay but my OldCP name was CPBiter. I just preferred the chilled environment that it was back in the day. I'll come on tomorrow and see what its like but I'm not sure. I just had a chat with some of the old guys as well (Milan and Fable) and that was good to catch up. See what tomorrow brings.

hi Sadie, I don't know if you remember me, we used to be mates believe it or now, anyway, I see what your mean, how its impossible to be the same as all the veterans have grown up and whatnot, but I reckon it could be like it used to. i logged on to OldCP just to see two people preparing to fight a communist group. I went for my dinner, half an hour later, I used /popular to meet a load of people in a battle, leading into me getting killed. I mean what a way to invite me back. I don't know why the mods cant create a civil environment with competitions and roles that people strive to get. i just don't understand, but if the game did turn out to become similar to the game that i used to love then I would be over the moon. Anyway, thanks for replying anyhow

I think its unfair to say its bad. The fact its still here is amazing. People have grown up and the younger generation aren't involved in CP anymore + CP shut down. I've worked and continue to work very hard on it that's why its still here!
its probably harsh to say its bad but its no where as good as its used to be, the community used to be so good, i remember everyone was so heartbroken when OldCP got shut down.
