Thank you.
I just wish Elementary schools gave out normal middle/high school homework so we're prepared, instead of just jumping into a year where you get a ton more homework and you are overwhelmed.

Seriously. This IS spamming the Feedback section. You don't have to make posts every 10 seconds. Just PM a Mod or make moods.

Yes. I Agree with this post. Disliking doesn't mean that you have to report some body.

I agree with this post.
But, another reason is, If sombody is on a rude post spree, users dislike it, so if that person made 4 bad posts, she would have 4 dislikes from 1 person.

Hey Penguins!
Lately, reports have been going around of people spamming dislikes of other peoples' posts. I'm here to help clear this up.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
First off, we should probably start with the question; What is spamming? There are several definitions for the word spam, but the one i'm talking about is not a canned meat product. It's where you repeatedly send the same message/do the same thing to people via internet. E.g: Sending the same E-mail to a whole bunch of people. In this case, spamming is repeatedly disliking a post or posts for no apparent reason.
Second, let's ask the question, "Why do people do this?" People decide to spam with dislikes or with posts to either:
-Gain attention
-Take out anger on the person they are mad with
-Jealousy
-Getting bribed
-To get better rep
DO:
Reporting to a Moderator
Asking the spammer(s) to stop
Stay calm
DON'T:
Disliking posts back
Send an angry E-mail, PM, Skype, Etc.. to the person
Swear
Publicly lie about he/she
Well, Different people have different opinions about this question, due to the fact that there is no official rule. In my opinion, dislike spam would be 6 or more for no reason.
If in this case, you realize that YOU are the spammer, I suggest you do the following:
Send a PM/E-mail to the user(s) saying sorry.
Like the same amount of posts to even out the rep.
If the same suspected user does spams on different accounts, you should tell Cyberwolf or another Mod.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I certainly hope this helps. If you have any other questions, PM me and I will post them!

Unfourtanently, yes. Most people spam dislikes for no apparent reason.
Dos and Don'ts

Hello, Penguins. I'm not sure if Damen or Cyberwolf got to see my updated post, so here it is now.
To whom it may concern,
I am here today to apply for a Forum Moderator. As you can see, my Forum name is Pieguy. I should become a Forum Moderator for a few reasons. I am against bullying. I will not tolerate it, and ban whoever shall be banned. Also, I am familiar with the Forums. I am aware of when a post needs to be locked, and when a post needs to be deleted. I have experience on other Forums, and know almost everything there is to being a Moderator. I know the Forum rules very well, as well. Finally, I know my way very well around these Forums. I know the users, and I would be very fair if I were to become Moderator.
Thank you, and if you choose to accept me, I will gladly do my job well with great honor.
Sincerely,
Pieguy

I'm not sure... I just can't get hooked on these stories for some reason. In my opinion, you should add more mystery and suspense. I like the comedy, though, keep that part in. And a couple parts about food wouldn't hurt....
This story was made for children, I can go allot more professional but that wouldn't work for this concept. Reminder: This is just chapter 4. I believe I added enough mystery and suspense at the beginning of this chapter.

Player-card Bans
•
8th December 2013, 01:43 PM
Hey Penguins!
I think for this new game, Penguin Isles, and for Rsnail.biz (Penguin Chat 4 re-make) we should have playercard bans. This means, a mod/admin would click on a user's playercard and click a button that would ban them. Why should we have this? People like Island create accounts like IlIIllIllIIIIIIlIIl and it's hard to figure out what it is. When he/she keeps cussing, mods and admins are stuck, powerless. We can only guess, but there are over 10,000 combinations to just that name I posted. This would help greatly, and it would make us ban people easily. We could have the same thing with a "Kick" button, as well. Please go along with this. It would help the online world greatly.

I agree, but, notice how all of the staff on Penguin Chat wasn't current or previous staff on OldCP. Damen just wanted to get some new people.
