The lore of the forest. Both physical and invisible. This forest kingdom is the foundation of all things, the entire universe's way of life and culture originates with the forest.
TERMINOLOGY AND RANKINGS
FOREST LORD
Formerly known as Ainur/Eldar. These mighty creatures are the highest ranked of all living things. They are naturally invisible, dwelling in a higher dimension. Though they are able to manifest physical forms at will using their energy. They usually inhabit distant galaxies and have apprentices.
FOREST PRINCE
Formerly known as Maiar. These slightly less powerful creatures are the apprentices of the Forest Lords. Each Prince has a master whom they serve and are trained in many different skills. Some are trained as warriors, others guardians, others craftsmen, still others politicians, others judges etc. These are also invisible creatures who can use energy to manifest into the physical world.
FOREST BOY/GIRL
These mortals serve under the Shaman of the forest. The shaman is usually a Prince or a Lord, having immense power over the mortal boys/girls of the wood. These boys/girls, with the help of the forest lords and princes, have powers of foresight and can see future events and possible outcomes.
RECAP
Many centuries ago, the most powerful of the forest lords, Melkor, rebelled against God and sought to take over the forest. He was joined by other rebellious forest lords and forest princes. Their goal was to establish a black forest called el•ka•umbra (meaning black wood of the eldar).
Unfortunately, the forest became corrupted for a long time. Many forest people were mislead and the kingdom itself was infiltrated by the lieutenant of Melkor, called Pythas, who seduced the forest queen Melody Daughter of Rashad (the Shaman's daughter).
Melkor's rulership of the forest truly began when Pythas sealed the shaman and his people in the golden city under the mountains in the north for hundreds of years.
Meanwhile, a son of Pythas called Accal (meaning eyes shining bright), lead the resistance against Melkor and his servants. It was he who in the end pierced the heart of Melkor in the form of Turin Turumbar, the man, in December 2018.
When Melkor/Morgoth fell, Pythas renamed himself to Pythor. Though just a forest prince and not a full forest lord like his son was reborn into being, Pythor still holds the most power any prince has ever held and hopes to carry out his dead master's will and bring forth the el•ka•umbra and take over the world with a socialist new world order!
