Ass is a bad word when its used like OH YOU ASS HOLE. or JACK ASS. Its not when you say my ass hurts or when you use it as a body part. But when you use it to be rude then yes it's a cuss.

Okay people clam down. Yes, those words can be offensive IF used offensively towards an individual. You can say it as long as it is not rude or an insult to someone.
