How to play SCP: Containment Breach
19th June 2022
Based on my experience
Find a level 1 keycard and the gas mask (both can be found in the Storeroom), grab some 9V batteries too. Don't forget to BLINK BEFORE ENTERING ANY ROOM and CLOSE THE DOORS BEHIND YOU, but most importantly, DO NOT RUSH.
Look for the Small Testing Room and use your level 1 keycard to open its door but blink before entering it since you will encounter SCP-173, pick up the level 2 keycard and the S-Nav and proceed to leave the test room.
Take the elevator to Storage Area 6, upon entering the room, find the night vision goggles and replace its batteries, equipping it enhances your vision in the dark making it easier to navigate and avoid SCP-939 patrol routes while looking for the black severed hand and the lever to open a corridor leading to the exit. You can also avoid SCP-966 using the night vision goggles as they are invisible the naked eye.
Use the level 2 keycard to open the door to SCP-914's chamber, put the level 2 keycard, the gas mask and the first aid kit (which can be found in the same room) into SCP-914 on the "Fine" setting, likewise put the S-Nav on the "Very Fine" setting. Additionally, putting the night vision goggles through SCP-914 on the "Fine" setting will produce a red version that doesn't use batteries.
With the level 3 keycard you can now access SCP-714 (which makes you immune to SCP-049's lethal touch for 5 seconds) and SCP-860 in the SCP Storage Chamber, as well as SCP-1499 in the Containment Room 5 (which you can put on to escape from SCP-106).
Access the Surveillance Room using the level 3 keycard and pull the lever to lift the Light Containment Zone lockdown and wait for SCP-049 to appear, run around him and escape the room. With this done you will be able to access the Heavy Containment Zone.
The key code to the blast door at the entrance of the Maintenance Tunnels can be found in a document inside SCP-372's containment chamber, so you should look for this room while exploring the Light Containment Zone, another option is to use the tunnels themselves to reach the other side.
While exploring the Heavy Containment Zone you should also look for SCP-079's containment chamber and remember its location on the S-Nav to come back later.
Take the elevator to SCP-049's containment chamber, upon arrival lights will go out and the elevator will malfunction, equip the night vision goggles and head to the main chamber where a level 4 keycard can be found, then set the elevator power switch to "Generator" and turn on the backup generator. The corpses lying on the ground will reanimate and start chasing you, you can either run around them and escape through the second elevator or go back the way you came, but be careful because SCP-049 could be waiting for you in the elevator.
Find SCP-106's containment chamber, one way to do it quickly is to enter the pocket dimension by letting SCP-106 catch you and find your way out through the right path in which you will be teleported to his chamber although badly wounded, otherwise use the level 4 keycard to access it and go down to the control room where you will find a level 5 keycard on a desk, it's up to you whether or not to re-contain SCP-106.
In order to access to the Entrance Zone, the Heavy Containment Zone lockdown must be lifted, to do so enter SCP-008's containment chamber wearing the hazmat suit and close the canister while keeping an eye on SCP-173 in the next room.
Before you enter the Entrance Zone you should consider getting the ballistic vest in the Warhead Room to protect you against Nine-Tailed Fox and if you want you can turn off the alpha warheads.
Once in the final zone all you have to do is find the Electrical Center, turn off the remote door control system and turn back on the secondary lighting if it shuts off, then go back to SCP-079's containment chamber, open the blast door and approach the cell to trigger it.
If a wooden door stops you from progressing use SCP-860 on the door and into a forest, once inside follow the footpath until you find another door attached to a concrete wall, don't take too long or SCP-860-2 will kill you.
Lastly, head back to the Electrical Center and re-enable the door control system, effectively unlocking Gate A and Gate B to exit the facility.
