Carl is a stupid kid pretending to be a zombie, he's so bad at acting that when he gets shot in the eye it's almost like nothing happened.

Then he remembers to faint far too late, though, as the whole scene is mostly him trying to figure out how to react to an impossible bullet wound. That is why the whole episode seemed to be so rushed. Wrong ends of the scale, I'm afraid.

Let's not be too harsh on him, after all, he is trying to be the son of Rick Grimes, which is an impossible role to start with because Rick is too MLG for kids- his shot is so accurate it could never possibly result in any offspring, only death.

Let's hope the new world does not involve Koaral Grammes.
