The Journey of Royalty
22nd February 2016
The path a royal family has and how their lives change.
It's a foggy morning. The man wakes up groggy and weary. He looks out of his window to find the same fog of yesterday still lingering.
It has been 2 days of this fog. This fog is known as The Passing, it lasts for 7 days. During the time of The Passing, a kingdom is built.
The man puts on his worn coat, and heads out of the small room he is stationed in. He walks past the markets and shops, to find people in a odd mood today.
Every market he walked by, the owners have stared at him as if he was a king. He ignores this, and walks up to the blacksmith shop.
He walks inside, puts on his apron and begins working.
As this is a small little village, with 5 shops, 3 food markets, and a few weak structured homes for people to live in.
2 people came to his shop today, 1 man asked for a bucket, and the other was a mysterious man.
This man was dressed in black, he had a long coat, and most of it covered his darkened face. He wore a helmet of a wolf.
This man, was named the Giver. During the time of The Passing, the Giver, gives the soon-to-be Emperor, a task to start his kingdom.
The Giver requests the blacksmith to create a crown of great beauty, and to create the strongest armor the blacksmith could make. The Giver ordered him to make it the size of the blacksmith. The blacksmith thought little of this.
The blacksmith said it would take days and it would be a lot of gold. Of course, the Giver responded with a lot of gold and gave him 3 days to complete this task.
The blacksmith began working on his task quiet diligently. He was unaware of what this was for. He finished the golden crown by night. He was very pleased with his great work.
The next day, the village was still in a haze of fog. The blacksmith set up shop again, and began working on the Giver's armor. The blacksmith decided to keep the shop closed so that he would not be backed up in work.
Once he finished the shining and strong body piece, the blacksmith began to fit it on himself, and found that he really enjoyed it.
He left the chest plate empty, he would ask the Giver for a icon to put there when he returns.
The blacksmith returned home that day with the great work he had made over the last 2 days. He kept it close to him in the night so that no thieves may come and steal is great work.
On the 5th day of the passing, the Giver had returned to the blacksmith's shop. The Giver analyzed his great work. He told the blacksmith to keep his work and the money.
The Giver then brought him out of the village on a horse. Far away from civilization, the Giver told the blacksmith his new task. The blacksmith was to wear his armor, and craft himself a sword to wear by his side.
The blacksmith promised to do so, without question. Something to the blacksmith made all of this feel right. They rode back and he began to craft.
The 6th day of the Passing came quick. The blacksmith woke up to the fog again. He looked out his small window to find the Giver riding up to his home.
The blacksmith put on his armor, put his sword by his side, and rushed outside to meet the man.
Again, they rode out far away. The Giver gave the blacksmith his final task. He was to gather as much information on the village as possible. The blacksmith was to find all of the builders, the farmers, the maids, the knights.
He spent the whole day finding as much as he could. Night came quickly, and he set off to sleep. During the night, he noticed the moon had shone right down upon the crown next to him on a small table. He found that was odd, but ignored it and went to rest for the night.
He woke again the next morning. The fog was finally clearing away. He put on his armor, and his sword again. He found the Giver right outside of his door.
The Giver ordered him to grab his crown and hurry to set out again.
Confused, the blacksmith still follows his directions, and takes the crown with him. Riding out again, the Giver stops before reaching too far away.
The Giver tells the blacksmith of what the Passing was. The 7 days of fog were there to build him into a Emperor. The Giver explains who he is, and what the blacksmith must do.
The Giver then named the blacksmith, Sir Gregor Forte, the new Emperor to the Kingdom of the strong.
The crown was placed upon his head, and a light came through the fog touching him and his crown.
The Giver then vanished into the light and Emperor Gregor Forte rode back to the village.
As he trotted in on his horse, he did not notice the new robe that was around his neck. He got stares from all around.
He got off of his horse, and called out to the people.
He explained them that there is a new change, a big change.
The Emperor soon realized the changes beginning to happen around him. He had a lot of gold in his pockets. The shops began to grow with more people.
The Emperor then called all of his knights, builders, farmers, and maids.
He had the knights guard him. He had his builders begin to build a castle. He had his farmers begin to plant crops, many crops. He lastly had his maids clean up the streets of the worn out and old village.
With a week, there was much progress. There was a castle, as more and more builders began to emerge.
There were better homes and shops. There was lots of food and cattle.
There were lots of maids cleaning up the castle.
More and more people began expanding this small kingdom. There were many types of people. A class system began to form.
There were the poor, the workers, and the serviced.
Many beautiful woman came into Gregor's kingdom.
Emperor Gregor was looking for an Empress to help him to create a new family.
The Emperor set out in the town one day with his guards behind him and spotted a beautiful young woman.
Her name was Rose. Emperor Gregor began to talk with her in the town for days, and then he finally invited her to stay in the castle with him.
She accepted his offer, and there began their time together. They had spent 6 months together, until they finally realized their love for each other.
Emperor Gregor proposed to her, and their wedding was soon.
They had the whole kingdom planning for it. Then finally, they had their wedding.
With lots of maids and women out to shower them in flowers, they walked down the carpet and held each others hands. Once the ceremony started, it was quiet all around.
When the honored priest finished his words, and the happy couple said their I do's, they kissed and a ray of sunlight came down upon the kingdom that day.
Emperor Gregor Forte and Empress Rose Forte spent a long time thinking about having a princess and prince.
Finally one day, news had come out of the castle of an expected new royal family member.
Upon soon arrival for the new child, the kingdom had many decorations to plan for the event. When the child was born, the kingdom cheered in happiness for their newest Prince, William.
Gregor taught his young son small things has he began to grow. Then, another day gave the royal family and unexpected child.
The Empress had not known she was due for a new child until it was time for the arrival, this showed bad news for the outcome of the family member.
She gave birth to a Princess, who had survived after birth.
Princess Annia, was what she was named.
The newest Princess was a great part of the family, she was very smart.
The Prince and Princess attended many royal events and learned quickly the ways of being a proper royal family.
The Prince and Princess were destine to marry others in the kingdom once they step up to the crown.
As they grew, the Prince was able to swing a sword like no other, and the Princess was the smartest, and most beautiful of the kingdom.
They grew to be great leaders with their parents, who were growing older day by day.
A sad day came when the Empress fell sick of a disease.
Emperor Gregor spent days by her bed until the moonlight took her soul and life away.
A formal funeral was set for her. The kingdom was sad and weary of their Empress's death.
The next week, the Emperor named Princess Annia the newest Empress.
Ayra did well with her father, who was also growing older.
The Emperor one day collapsed next to his son during a lecture of being an Emperor.
For 7 days, the kingdom had rain. The Emperor was in bed for all of those 7 days, until the final day, when he passed away.
His son, Prince William was to stand in his place temporarily until Empress Annia marries.
Emperor Regent William had stood rule for 6 months, until Empress Annia finally had a coronation to have Emperor Regent William, become the Emperor, has he did very well with the kingdom.
The kingdom was striving, it was doing great. The kingdom had become strong, and bold. They had many fighters, fighters for the good of course.
The Royal family had decided to marry others, and have children, which they did over time. The original children to the first heirs stayed as Emperor and Empress.
When they finally married and had children, they thereby declared that any child of the immediate royal family, is a heir to the golden crown.
The royal family and kingdom of Forte lived for 3000 years, until the Emperor and Empress died in a fire before having children to expand the family on.
