The Light of a New Dawn
Sasha looked outside of the window into the night as dawn would soon break the darkness. Sasha had somewhat a dark personality, wearing dark colors and keeping to herself she often felt happiness in the solitude of her own home where she loved to draw and paint and sometimes even bake. She had few friends but those who were are Sam, Leah, Justin, Thomas and Corey. They were all different in there own ways but were still great friends. Sasha looked throughout the night sky looking for inspiration of what to draw next when suddenly she got a call on her cell phone, it was Sam bringing bad news. Sasha listened to Sam going on hardly understanding what she was saying. But Sasha knew her parents had been divorced by the end of the call. Sasha had gone through the same thing herself just a year ago but that's a story for another day. Sasha threw on her jacket and went to her new car, well new to her although it was made in 1995. Sasha was now 18 and old enough to drive herself to other places. She pulled out of the drive and drove down the highway to Sam's house. Stopping at the turning lane she made her away across when a large truck slammed into her car. The car had flipped several times before coming to a halt on its side. The cars right side was totaled and so was Sasha. 911 was called promptly as she was rushed to the hospital. She was in a coma as Sam made her way into the room. One look at Sasha and she began to sob. She had asked the doctor if Sasha would live. "Unfortunatley she only has a 25% chance of living she will most likely not pull through" He said. Sam sat quietly and began to cry again, harder as she softly held Sasha's hand and kissed her on the forehead.
