I dashed past the trees as my feet hit the pavement. I have been running my whole life, never looking back. I was an orphan as a kid, and a family took me in. I was...different from them though. My eyes were green, and looked radioactive. My long, brown hair was a mess upon my shoulders. I breathed in, and out as I sprinted down the street. I was leaving this town, and never returning. Everyone thought of me as a freak, and I was running away from all the memories, and the pain.
I never had a name, or knew how old I was because I didn't have a birth certificate. I never knew my actual parents either. I called myself Olivia, and said I was about 19. I was always forgotten, and pushed myself away from others. I look down to see an old, and torn lavender sweater, and a pair of worn out jeans. My red converse had a hole in them, and the laces were frayed. I was lucky enough to even have clothes although they were worn out, and gave to me by a kind person.
I ran to the one place I could go to besides my "home." It was a secret place, and I came here when I was stressed. It was hidden under vines, and I discovered it by accidently tripping, and falling. It had a little stream, and rocks all around. I sat on one of the rocks, and looked at the sunset. My bright, green eyes were starting to close, and I had trouble keeping them open. I had no idea where I was going, or what I was going to do. I knew one thing. I had to keep running...

Thank you everyone! I'm not too good at coming up with story ideas, but once I find a topic I just go from there. I wrote this very quickly because I was bored. It's just a short, quick story. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
