Part 1 of The Lost Kingdom

Amy,a girl with blonde hair,red highlights,and green eyes was sitting in class watching the clock tick.Only 4 minutes until the bell rang and she could leave."Ok class tonight's homework will be page 230 numbers 1-35,"said her math teacher Ms.Smtih.Then the bell rang,Amy and 24 other kids ran out of the class room.Amy was going to her favorite class,Language Arts,Amy got to the class waiting for Mr.Press to tell them another myth."Ok class today's myth will be about a kingdom lost in an amazing Egyptian desert.Long ago there was a kingdom full with joy a laughter,it was the happiest kingdom ever,until a great war broke out.Two kingdoms battled to gain control,but only one was successful.The happiest kingdom ever were not a kingdom anymore they were people scattered across the globe hoping one day things would go back to normal."Amy looked around half of her class was asleep but she was wide awake listening to the whole story."The winning kingdom ordered the people to abandon the kingdom and never return.Years after they had left sand covered the kingdom leaving no signs that there ever was a kingdom.Some people say the kingdom is still there covered in sand waiting to be discovered.But no one is willing to take the risks to get there."Amy thought about it and she remembered that she was going to Egypt this summer.Not only was she going to Egypt she was going to the desert were the kingdom was suppose to be.Maybe she could explore and if she did not find the kingdom she could find other interesting things.Amy couldn't wait,she was going to try and find the kingdom.
