Hey there! I have been seeing people going on club penguin, wanting to meet mascots, so here is how you do WITHOUT adding them. First go on Newcp and log in and all that. Open up the three lines thing, then click tools. After that, click the Javascript console. Then do the following in the console, type in:

Disney.Friends.API.addCharacter ("{id of mascot}")

For where the I wrote the id of mascot, you type in the id of your mascot. Here's the ids.

Rockhopper: 1
AA: 2
Cadence: 3
Gary: 4
Franky: 5
Petey K: 6
G Billy: 7
Stompin' Bob: 8
Sensei: 9
Herbert: 10
Wheel Bot: 11
Jet Bot: 12
Snowbot: 13
Protobot: 14
Dot: 15
Rookie: 16
Jet Pack guy: 17
Director: 18
PH: 28
Rocky: 29
CeCe: 30
Kermit The Frog: 33 (I found this out)

Example: Disney.Friends.API.addCharacter ("33")
(I open up my friends list and he is there)
To make sure it worked, it should say undefined.

I added Rockhopper, he wasn't there. Do you have to relogin?

Hmm.. if you have met him already it probably won't work. Although, try relogging in. It worked for me. It could also be that in your region this doesn't work.

I met all mascots but I didn't meet CeCe, Rocky and Jet Pack Guy. I added them of all mascots, but I didn't add CeCe, Franky, G Billy, Petey K, Rocky and Jet Pack Guy. I didn't add Stompin' Bob cuz he added me himself.

Didn't get banned lol. Besides it's not a hack, it's something of disney's fault, consideration they used javascript for the friends list.
