To be honest, Gold is a great idea. I think there is something that will make this gold thing abused. You see how you get 5 gold per discussion? Well now people are going to double discussion, and make useless discussions. Really, people just want the gold, they don't intend on getting a good discussion. I think to get 5 gold from a discussion the discussion has to be at least 50-100 words, and if the same word is repeated it will not be given to the user. Damen has said you can make short discussions, well now users will make short, useless discussions so they can get gold.
