Hey there! I have posted this discussion because I have been aggravated about something that has been happening for months. It is penguins basically "Advertising" their discussions in the moods so other penguins will noticed it.

The problems with using this technique:

  • It takes up many moods, and I almost always see one in the moods section.
  • For me, they take a little fun away from moods if there is always an application waiting for you to look at.
  • It seems a little desperate that penguins do this sort of thing for other penguins to notice it. If it does not get out there, it is not the end of the world. This has happened to me many times, whether not many penguins saw it, or no one replied to it. I did not give up, I just moved on.
  • This is what the applications section is for, not to "Advertise" your post again by putting a little reminder in the moods section.

This might sound extreme, but I am expressing myself through reason. This may sound complicated at first, but I might be the only one with this problem. I like it the way it is when penguins just post their application in the Application section and leave it that way.

This would be the same with any kind of post, saying something like, "Come check out my post. forums.damenspike.com/view/...." I am not trying to be offensive to anyone who does this, I just don't think it is necessary to use this technique.

I am (again) sorry if I offended anyone of you penguins with this post, but I had to get it out there. What do you guys think about my problem? Should i ignore it, or try to put an end to it. Any feedback would be great. Bye guys! :D

After a while, it get's annoying. But as long as they don't spam the moods, it's fine. (If they do I WILL kill myself)
