Welcome to the first issue of OldCP Press! The oldcp press is a bi-monthly "newsletter" about oldcp. The oldcp press will bring you information about the game, recent news, and interviews. This issue will usually be released on Saturdays, but it could not be released yesterday. We hope you do enjoy the first issue of the OldCP Press!

RECENT NEWS

This week has been a very eventful week for OldCP. First off, we have many changes in staff positions. Recently, members Hashir and Thisismyname were promoted to In-game moderator. Along with this, Cyberwolf, was promoted to Administrator on OldCP.
Besides ranks and staff changes, there are also some in-game related news. Recently Damen has been working on some custom rooms. These rooms are unique and different. You can access the five new rooms by doing the following commands:
/join Damen
/join candy
/join toblerone
/join lego
/join phonelair
Big thanks to Damen for these rooms and the press team hopes to see more custom rooms in the future.
Cyberwolf, one of oldcp new Admins, recently hosted a competition for credits. The competition was made of 3 tasks. User Thisismyname won the competition with her team and earned 150 credits. Thanks cyberwolf for hosting this competition!
Well, with all of that said, I believe this wraps up the news for today’s issue. Make sure you go congratulate Hashir, Thisismyname, and Cyberwolf. Also, don’t forget to log onto the game to check out the brand new rooms!

MEMBER OF THE ISSUE/INTERVIEW

For this week’s issue, the oldcp press team has decided to choose Hashir as Player of the Press. Nintendo, one of our writers decided to interview Hashir, the new moderator.

We chose Hashir as the Press team can agree that he is a very active member of the community. Hashir is responsible, helpful, and a great member of the community. We congratulate Hashir on his achievement of obtaining Chat Moderator.

Q: How did you first find out about OldCP?
“Well, I started on CPPSHQ, and they said
it was a great place, so I checked it out.

Q: How did you feel at the first taste of OldCP?
“At first I was confused, the game worked differently. But when the contests came, I enjoyed it a lot. I made friends with the mods and it was fun.”

Q: When you first met me (Nintendo), what did you feel like?
“At first, I thought you were really cool, someone showed me a pic of a guy was going to hack this place. I got on the wrong side of you. Then months after you returned, I realized you were awesome.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about OldCP?
“Okay, now this is a really hard question. I like everything about it. It’s a really cool game. The most I like about it is the staff. They are really friendly. I enjoy this a lot. More than any other CPPS.”

ARTWORK/FANART

Because this is the first issue, no artwork will be submitted. We will be opening the submissions post shortly.

SHORT STORES

As with artwork, no short stories will be included in this first issue. We will be opening submissions for Short stories before next week.

POSTS

In the posts section, we will be posting quotes from threads posted on the forums by members/staff. All of the posts have to do something with the news mentioned earlier on in this issue.
We decided to include a couple posts, the first one from Cyberwolf thanking Damen for admin:

We left out two segments this week, both of which are still in question. If we decide to do these two segments, they will be in the next issue. If they are not, the ideas have been discarded.
