I didn't dislike this because everyone has their own opinions. U see, minecraft is a great game. And the herobrine is a myth so forget about him. U use ur mind and creativity in this game, plus u can build ur own worlds and play on other servers and chat with ppl. And u know what? nearly 80% of all games have been turned into mod packs for minecraft. So theres a lot u can do in it, u also learn different things plus there are many mobs to fight, tame, and kill. The main objective is to defeat the two bosses, which is really hard. They are the Wither and the Ender Dragon. And its not neccesary for a game to have point. Specially virtual games. if u look at it in that way, snaildom and club penguin also dont have any point. But they are FUN which makes them great games. Minecraft is a game which is not to be seen, played for some little time or something. Yes, u may get bored doing the same thing again and again, but theres countless things u can do in minecraft. My opinion, minecraft is a good game. But thats ur opinion, and i respect it. Btw creepers and other mobs are pretty cool to be honest, even though they are not real And just look at it once, a game with biomes,worlds,plants,animals,armory,weapons,tools,ores,mining,crafting,brewing,eating,ravines, caves, abandoned mineshafts,dimensions,spawners,sleeping,fighting,creating almost anything u can imagine and with music, even though the music is normal (im talking about note blocks here) u can make MANY tunes. For eg someone made the frozen tune using note blocks which was really good. So its ur wish!
P.S the creater of minecraft notch said that u can download minecraft for free too, and he said that himself! Sure u gotta search a bit for the whole version but its worth it. I play the teamextreme version
