Annie gets out of the cave that she has entered.

" Annie! You're back! So how was it? I was burning here tell me the rest while we go back to your house. " Maria says.

While they were walking Annie told Maria all about it how the ground shaked, how the lava went up, and everything.

" It was creepy at first but she was actually nice. " Annie says

" Phew. I was worried you wouldn't make it back well now you did. " Maria said happily.

Annie and Maria entered Annie's house. Annie went straight to her room and put her backpack down. Annie saw that her flippers were glowing red. She was surprised! She clapped her flippers 2 times and the glowing stopped. She told Maria that she was just going to go outside for a little bit.

Annie walked and her flippers glowed again. She was wondering what was happening. Annie's flippers glowed even brighter, Annie shook her flippers right in front of her then a small fire went in front of Annie.

" !!! How did that happen! " Annie wondered to herself.

The fire grew bigger and bigger. Annie just looked at the fire then the fire stopped. She went to sit at the bench. She got a vision of Jennifer's voice.

" It's just the beginning little girl.. you will soon know that something is special within you. " Said Jennifer's voice in Annie's mind.

Annie opened her eyes and got up from the benches. Annie ran back to her igloo as fast as she can! Annie got inside her igloo went inside her room and slammed the door behind her. Maria was surprised because she never saw Annie run that fast. Maria knocked on Annie's door.

" Annie? Everything alright? Anything wrong? If there is you can always tell me! " Maria says

" Maria everything's fine... I just need a little rest.. " Annie said as she breathed heavily from that fast running.

Annie went on her bed and breathed heavily. Her flippers kept glowing and she banged on her desks several times then the glowing finally stopped.

It was the next day. Annie woke up from her sleep. Maria was already left Annie's house and went back to her own igloo. Annie remembered it was school. Annie grabbed her favorite shirt and favorite purple hoodie and put them on. Annie's mom took Annie to school.

After several hours of school Maria was on the sidewalk with her other friends. They were talking about doing something at 5:00 and go get a snack. Annie went to them and asked.

" Hey Maria! What are you guys doing? Can I hang out with you guys? " Annie asked

" Ugh " Maria said then she walked away with her other friends.

Annie was surprised because she never saw Maria like that. Annie just walked to her igloo by herself having a sad look on her face. Annie's other friends Bryan and Jackson were talking at the benches while they were having a snack. Bryan saw Annie's face and saw her walking alone.

" Hey. Annie looks sad should we ask her what's wrong? " Bryan asked Jackson.

" Oh come on! I'm still eating! " Jackson told back to Bryan.

" Just go to my igloo and eat your snack while your walking. I'll meet up with you. " Bryan said.

Jackson went to go to Bryan's igloo and Bryan went to ask Annie what was wrong.

" Hey Annie! You look kind of sad... is something wrong? You can always talk about it if you want. " Bryan said to Annie as she was walking.

" Bryan I have no time right now. And no nothing is wrong! I'm just... um.. just tired... yeah I'm tired. By tired I mean tired.. because I slept late last night.... um yeah I'm just ... going to my igloo.. to.. go rest. " Annie said nervously as she was walking home.

" Annie I know there's something wrong. You always pause your sentences when there's something wrong. " Bryan said to Annie.

" Fine. I'll tell you when we get to my igloo. " Annie said.
