" I said hi to Maria and she was like ugh then she walked away with her other friends. I felt so bad and I thought what did I do? " Annie told Bryan. " Well... probably something you did. What did you do yesterday? " Bryan asked Annie. Annie remembered when she ran into her igloo went to her room and told Maria nothing was wrong and didn't tell Maria. " Oh no! I'm such a bad friend! I ran into my igloo and went to my room as fast as I could and I closed the door. Maria asked if something was wrong and there was something wrong but I didn't tell her !! I think that's why she said ugh to me because I lied to her. " Annie said sadly. " Well.. why did you go outside in the first place? " Bryan asked again sounding confused. Annie told him about her flippers glowing and then her banging on the desk. " I think I know what that means. " Bryan said. " What? " Annie asked.

" Well I heard that when your flippers glow like that, it means that you have fire powers. I read it on the internet. " Bryan said. Annie had a surprised look on her face. " How could I have gotten fire powers? I'm confused there can't be like this fire in me! " Annie said nervously.

Annie then remembered about that voice that said there is a special power within her. Annie thought if that special power was the fire power. Annie told Bryan about that trip her and Maria took to the firey place that had this girl named Jennifer that had fire powers.

It was the next day and Annie tried to control her fire powers because she can't blast fire out of her flippers at school. A few hours later it was lunch time. Annie grabbed her tray and sat down at the benches at lunch.
