Be active, have good grammar etc. Stay here for atleast 6 months then make a Mod App. If your app gets accepted, Then well done! You can also take part in Mod comps to me become one (If your talking about in-game).
Btw, if you want to become a mod on forums, reach the requirements first. And become a member and master first too.

Moderating is much different than what you seem it is. To you Moderators just help, but however we do more than that. Moderators solve crimes too similar to a detective taking feedback/ reports and making them into a picture in our minds. We look for things as well and we keep a keen eye out all the time. To obtain Moderator you need to be mature, loyal, trustworthy, and simply respectful. Moderating is a rather hard job and it holds responsibility. With such a great power comes great responsibility too. So my suggestion to you is to not ask but obtain it or apply. Applications are an easy way out, but earning it by being heard is different. Your time will come when you have a feeling of no other feeling a feeling of honesty.
