Hello! I got bored so I decided to make a news report for today!
Speaking of today, February 2nd, 2015, it's Groundhog Day! At Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, at around 7:25 AM EST, Phil, the groundhog, was awoken. Phil did see his shadow, and there are six more weeks of winter!

The forum is back up today and everyone is excited to roam around once again.
Cyberwolf will be hosting a Gold competition later today at 5:15 PM EST/2:15 PM PST/10:15 PM UK.
Birthdays for today are Jayla turning 11, SugarPeices turning 10, and Kylie turning 9! (11,10, 9 ) Happy birthday to them!
Player of the Day earlier today was Jilly, but for the rest of the day, drum roll please.... is me!
That's the news with me for today! Have a great day!

I enjoyed reading this post. And I have something about groundhogs day: I never really understood it. I mean, who decided that a groundhogs seeing his shadow means six more weeks of winter? Why six weeks? Why not five? Or 8? Or 9? 7? If he doesn't see his shadow, spring supposedly comes early. How early? And don't groundhogs hibernate during this time? Why didn't they select an animal who doesn't hibernate such as a racoon? Or a or a cat

I think the Phil the Grounhog thing is a little weird . I mean, its an animal with a tiny brain, does it know what a shadow is?

Nice news report, Bailey!
I dislike that groundhog for seeing it's shadow, winter needs to end. I haven't slipped and fallen yet and I know it's coming...it happens every year.
Very excited for that gold competition, good luck everyone!
