Hey guys! I know I haven't done a debate in quite a long time. So let's just jump into it.
Here's the debate of the day:
Should schools use uniforms?
Here are the people that I interviewed answers!
Bobby21 Answered: Yes, because they suck.
Saber574 Answered: Yes, because it looks official.
Of course, everyone has their own answer so I will take whatever I get.
Let's not forget the top three best answers to Debate #3: Tuition!
Amazng Alice Answered: I believe it should not be free. Why? Because if college were free, it would be High School all over again. College is a privilege, not a right. What if a student got free education and done nothing with it? I mean, I believe the cost of college should decrease a bit, but not decrease all the way to free. Also, if colleges were free, than taxes would go up. Colleges would not be able to fund for the programs they have and would reply on the government for money. College is like any other business, and like all businesses, they need money. $$$
Sophie Answered: Knowledge should be the only fee. I mean, with fees, a stupid person with a lot of money could go to college, but a smart person that works hard and studies that's poor couldn't go? I highly doubt that's fair.
Choc Answered: College can't be free, and that's the sad truth.They NEED money to provide programs, technology and other things. Sure it's unfair, but they need it. You can't just rock up with nothing. They can drop it, but not so much. It's called life.

Certain schools already do that, but no. The reason for this is because there's the possibility of someone being bullied about their clothing, so they make everyone wear the same thing in certain districts. I believe that bullying can easily be handled if this occurs. Also, about Alice's answer, high school and college are not the same thing.

I believe school should not have uniforms because students should be able to express themselves with their clothing. Nobody wants to wear uniforms and we shouldn't have to, because they're ugly, uncomfortable, money-grabbers, and creativity-snatchers. Forcing students to wear the same thing all the time destroys creativity. Creativity is an important part of building a productive, problem solving person that can find there way out of any situation. While sucking the creativity out of a student is very counterproductive to building a strong education out of a student.

Rebecca took the words right out of my mouth. Even though uniforms stink, the schools encourage them for sameness. If someone has better clothes than some other person, it might make them feel bad. That is why schools encourage uniforms and I think they should. That way, everyone can have the same color of clothes so there is no bullying or making someone else feel bad.

Nope. People have the freedom of speech and expression. With a uniform, you get some freedoms taken away from you. I don't know about you, but I prefer to make my own decisions rather than following the public opinion. That's just my opinion. If you agree, AWESOME, but if you don't it's fine.

Yes and no.
Why yes? Well some people will get bullied by their clothing. And mostly kids these days wear inappropriate clothing that contains curse words,drugs,etc. And some girls would wear skin showing clothing..
Why No? Sometimes I can't find my uniforms and decide to wear my normal ones. And I would love to wear my normal clothes. More comfortable.

Of course we need uniform. If school has no uniform bullies can bully you and say "your ugly with your dress" With uniform is equal with everyone else, also schools needs money like seriously, they must pay these school trips and fees. I think we need uniforms because its very important that you are from this school.

I think no uniforms because the school would get complaints and drama! Who wants to wear a stupid uniform? Like seriously no....
I think college shouldn't be free but a lot lesser price like 100-300$ like what Choco said just because someone's poor means they can't get a better education...

I have to wear a uniform at my school. I think uniforms are better than none because I bet a lot people would be judged on how they dress, and there could be alot of drama. On some special days, we'll get a free dress day, and the "popular" girls always wear skin tight jeans, short shorts, or anything that they think will make them look more attractive, but people need to focus on learning instead of how they look.
