I do like minecraft, it's great and all, but consider the facts.

-Admit it, minecraft gets dull. There's only so much you can do.
-Updates are coming in slower and nothing quite special has been added to the game in a while
-Minecraft isn't free to play.
-Minecraft requires a decent computer to run mods without crashing.
-Minecraft for new players is unforgiving. No in-game tutorial to teach players crafting positions and how to survive. (PC only)
-Minecraft is going money-hungry with all these skin packs and texture packs for consoles.

Roblox however....

-Has a unique store with plenty of items to purchase
-Plenty of games to play, so you're never bored.
-Lots of new friends to make. I met my best friends on roblox.
-Communities and groups on the site. You can pretty much make whatever kind of group you want.
-Building customization is much more complex and easy to learn. You can build better structures easily in roblox.
-Any genre of game is available on roblox, so no matter what you like, there's most likely a game for it.

See what I mean? Roblox is just superior, but I must admit Minecraft is a hell of a game. I love it with all my heart. But in my subtle opinion, Roblox is better.

Roblox has hundreds of games. Hundreds. Each of them in different genres. Minecraft only supports creative and survival.
