In the history of The USA, Texas has attempted to become a separate region // area, with its own government and such.
Should Texas remain one of the 50 states in the United States of America, or should it become a separate area // region?
What do you think, and why?

I think it should remain as one of the states in the Unuted States.
Why?
I like to visit my cousins. They live there. And if they become part of another region, or a region of their own, I won't be able to see them at all. Unless we fly there. Texas is a fun state. YEEHAW!

Well, this hasn't been an issue for a long time. Also, Texas was originally French Territory. Four to five years later it was claimed by Spain. Almost two decades after that it became part of Mexico, and fifteen years of war later, it was it's own republic. Though, after nine years of fighting to get into the USA, it became part of it. And then it became part of the Confederacy of the United States. And then there was the reconstruction, and it became part of the United States again. And, that is where it is now.
Though, I live in Texas, and I don't generally like the governments (US) decisions on things like, not banning GMOs. I actually think that Texas would do better if it left the US completely. Though, that would probably take a lot of war and such. Which, with the way Texas already is, having Walmarts shut down for military use, would probably do a lot of damage. Though we would see if some of the people running for office in different cities of Texas, are actually trying to make Texas a better place, or if they are just trying to get recognized for somewhere bigger. And, with the way that most Texans are, I actually believe that the government system in Texas would be better than the one in the US.
On a totally unrelated note, I would like it if Texas became part of Canada.

It would be nice if Texas remained as one of our 50 states. It just seems like a really good state and I would love to go visit soon. I don't know but I really like Texas even though I don't know too much about it.

Well. It should stay apart of the United States.
In the past, Texas had seceded from the union with other states to create a new country. Abraham Lincoln had stated that the states can't physically separate from the union and that secession is unlawful.
Texas is a territory of the United States of America and therefore can never separate from it.
