Lots of people have been debating what is better, Cortana, or Siri. A Windows Phone will come with Cortana, and an iPhone or iPod Touch will come with Siri. Who is better? For us to find out. Cortana is a beta software. She is still in her infancy age. Siri is a complex, old, and valuable system that we use on plenty of our iDevices. On our Windows Phones we use Cortana. Both virtual assistants. Cortana is a text to speech robot, while Siri is Susan Bennett. I believe Cortana is buggy and cannot send even emails, as well as cannot even understand the name "Elouise". My friend's dad Cam tried to send an email to his wife, Elouise, and Cortana did not understand the name. Siri ate it like a piece of cake. Also, nearly everything you type in for Cortana to answer, it brings up a web search and forces you to find information on your phone. Siri is a way more elegant interface, but then again, Cortana is just a baby while Siri is a grandmother, and Cortana is on it's way. Just born, Cortana is already challenging Siri for the most convenient assistant. Siri can send emails and presents you with an elegant interface with the contact name, subject, and middle. It's easier to send emails with Siri even rather than using a Windows computer and opening Safari or Chrome and just using Gmail or Yahoo. That's because it would be very rare for you to type faster than you talk. Therefore, using Siri you can talk out the message, and talk fast, and Siri will get everything and send the message. Also, Siri asks for confirmation in the end. If you don't like the message, my iTouch presents me with a little drawing of a pencil for me to tap and be able to just edit the message simply. Cortana makes it easier to get reminders put on your device. You can do it so that while you talk to a certain person Cortana brings up a notification saying "Talk to [name] about [subject] it's urgent!" so you won't forget. Siri is incapable of doing so. Also, Siri using Wolfram Alpha and implemented that into it's interface. Therefore, it never randomly opens up web searches like Cortana does. Who do you like better? For my personal use, looking up sports info, calling/emailing my friends, finding out info, etc. I believe that Siri is a much better option and with the elegant layout, Cortana will never become Siri.
