Hey guys.
As you might have guessed... the forum's 2nd birthday/anniversary is in a few days!!! (someone bring cake) The exact date the forums were released was Augst 30th 2013.
Here are some pictures of the forum back in its beta version. (more on the calendar http://forums.damenspike.com/calendar/day/?id=30-8-2015 )
We have come extremely far in two years and are very excited to see what the future has to hold for us.
When an account has been registered on the forum for two years or more... their level badge will have a GOLD STAR! (gold star might not appear right away, give it a few days).
To mark this wonderful occasion Snailschat is coming back as a remake and will release August 30th, the day the forum was born. Snailschat was one of the first virtual worlds created by Damen and is the predecessor of Snaildom. It was open from June 2013 - August 2013 (for more info see Wiki:Snailschat ). It's very glitchy but its players are still in love with the game, even though it's been closed for two years.
Kara, Damen and I made it back into the game earlier today, it took 20 hours of hiking through the forest to find it.
The game is a remake which means it will NOT be updated and bugs will NOT be fixed. You will notice when you play that there are many bugs. If something doesn't work the first time, try it a second or third time (the register page is a bit glitched and when you try and make a new Snail it says "snail could not be found", just retry and it should work).
If you had an account on Snailschat that was registered BEFORE July 2013, you will not have to remake your account (you should still have all your items/powers). If you do not have an account or made one after July you must re-register.
Beta (VIP) access begins August 30th... everyone else can play starting September 1st.

Happy 2-year-anniversary to DSGHQ. We have indeed come a long way! And I'm personally excited for Snailschat even though there will be nothing new and bugs won't be fixed. I had an account, but I have to make another one anyway since it's been a while so I forgot my account information

I'm so glad that the Forum has come this far in two amazing years! I love being a part of this community so much. Gold star?! Ooh, nice. Happy 2 years, forum! I also cannot wait for the release of SnailsChat. This year is going to be the best in DSGHQ history.

Where do I even begin? I remember when the Forum looked liked that. It all seems so different looking at now. I mean its truthfully remarkable when you see it then and now. I'm still shocked knowing what will come of this. Being part of this forums for quite sometime [2013] its just amazing... the DSGHQ has yet more to offer and I'm so proud to be able to have witnessed something like this.

The forum has grown a lot since 2013 and I wasn't there when it all started but it looked like a great start. Already 2 years of the forums? That is really amazing. Happy 2 year anniversary, DSGHQ forums!
