Unless you are living under a rock, odds are you've heard of the book series of 'The Lightning Thief,' better known as simply 'Percy Jackson.' Same goes with Harry Potter. I mean seriously, Harry Potter is a given. So, here comes the question me and my classmates still struggle to come to a peaceful conclusion with to this day.
Although the final Harry Potter (HP) book came out in the late 90's, we still debate if it's better than Percy Jackson (PJ) or not. Personally, I fancy Harry Potter more. I find Percy Jackson to be too slow, but Harry Potter to be more suspenseful. Of course, this is just my personal opinion. What about you? If you've read at least one of either book, I'd like to know which one you prefer, so I have actual statistics to prove more people enjoy Harry Potter....muhahahahahahahahahaha!

percy Jackson. Harry Potter only has like 7 books and 10,000 pages in all. Percy Jackson has 13 or 14 books IN ALL so that's like 30,000 pages. And I finished Harry Potter in 2nd grade

I never actually read these books in depth, I have not read all the books in the series. I read a few Harry Potter books, I never finished them all lawl. I have never really read Percy Jackson either, I attempted reading the Percy Jackson series and failed lol. I am guessing this is a hard decision for people who love reading and read both books. I think I would have to chose Harry Potter, I am not 100% sure.

I read all the books of both series.
So, I do like Harry Potter, and am a Potterhead myself, but....
I prefer Percy Jackson better.
I read the Percy Jackson series first, when I was in sixth grade and continued reading them into my seventh and eighth grade years. I'm still reading them.
In my opinion, Percy Jackson is better, because once you start reading the Heroes of Olympus series, you might become obsessed like I am.
But then again, I'm watching Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets on TV right now irl.
it was only hypothetical
