As you know, Damen took off the xat chat after xat had an "update" and ranks were lost. Users had cussed and caused a lot of problems, resulting in the banishment of xat once again.

Well, I am making this post to get it back.

Xat has always been some part of DSGHQ, it's always returned and been a great part of DSGHQ.
It has games and other interactive things to keep us entertained. It's also a great way of communication, for staff and users.

Remember how fun that was? Gold competition, xat competitions, other ways to earn things will be taken away if xat is gone from the DSGHQ forever.

I remember the find 4 competition we had on there, it was very intense. People did win and a lot of people won gold.

Xat has been a great privilege to have. Why take it away a privilege based on users misbehaving, and on the host site having a breach? I mean, obviously it was going to be fixed. Right now most xat chats have main owners, owners, moderators and members.

Those users have been suspended anyways.

Also, xat was a way for us to see who could be ready for moderator or any other rank. Temporary moderators would often get promoted to permanent moderators. I was recently promoted to Supervisor, which has been great. I feel it all turned to waste though because the chat is no longer used. Other xat moderators may feel the same way as well. Being a staff member on there is fun, which is why others strive to be moderators often on there.

I do understand that in the past there has been trouble of people doing things on xat chats, but lately none of that has happened, besides the recent event. It honestly was only those users having some sort of rebellion.

I believe xat should be added back to the DSGHQ, the pros outweigh the cons.

Honestly I think the chat should come back, yes some users did break the rules but they used to get suspended, and xat really is fun and a great way to chat with your friends, along with all the games, such as doodlerace. And well in my opinion the xat dsghq chat should come back.

The chat is a part of dsghq I don't mind them using AurenJs for the chat, but I hope they do bring it back.

He could make another chat, or redo AurenJS, AurenJS is quite laggy though, last time it was used it never really worked. Xat was the safest and less laggy chat we had until the recent update, though everything has been fixed and xat is the same as it was before.

I believe xat should permanently return. I don't see why users swearing has to result in the whole thing getting taken away for everyone. Plenty of forum and OldCP users have sweared, but that has never resulted in DSGHQ being shut down, it simply results in those users being punished, and they are the only ones who don't have access to the game rather than everyone including innocent users not having access to the game. So, I think it should be that way with Xat unless there's some deeper reason as to why xat is gone. Just my opinion

Yeah, it was only like about 3 users that swore, I'd rather not say their names, but they were mods. The most reasonable punishment for them would to be stripped of XAT privileges.

I agree with you.

The chat is a big part of dsghq. To take it off and not have it, it would take some fun off of free chats for dsghq. Chat4return.

I believe it should also be brought back. I do see why they took it away from the dsghq due to mass swearing and rude, inappropriate users but this also happens on oldcp and forums. What happens to them? they get banned/kicked which is the same as the staff do on the dsghq chat. All 3 things that make us a community, oldcp, forums and the chat is/was a privilege and I don't see the other two being shut down due to these reasons. All 3 applications have the same issues, swearing/cussing, inappropriate users, spammers etc... yet only the xat chat suffers because of this. Well this is my opinion and I know that it won't be back straight away but I'll check everyday to see if it is up and running. Hopefully they bring it back but as I said it's their decision whether or not they will bring it back which I do respect and if they don't, that is also fine with me yet I'd rather it be back up and running.

I do not see why they took away the xat. I heard a few users were swearing but not a lot. If everyone was swearing on the chat then thats a different story. The users were suspended or banned. I think they should bring it back because a lot of you guys had fun on it. #Bringbackxat

i offered to pay for it but tennis wasnt in a good mood bc it was frozo talking to him on my account and theyre one of the people who cussed

Every time I login, I scroll down to see xat. Then I realize xat wasn't there.. I wish xat was back, there were fun activities to-do. Please Damen bring it back, the people who cussed should be banned from the xat then when it does come back. Or shouldn't ever be trusted with a rank on xat.
