Hey. I love fanfictions, and original stories, but I like fanfictions better. I made this post because I was bored, and I would like to know which one you like better. My favorite fanfictions are Harry Potter ones, since those are the only ones I have read. Fanfics ARE original stories....in many fan fictions, the characters aren't original, but the stories themselves are. Is that what you mean? The characters are unoriginal? Anyway, I'm voting for fanfics because they tend to let's say...make me excited

 What I mean is that the stories are not based on fanfictions. The fanfictions are based on stories. Sorry if I didn't make that clear..

What I mean is that the stories are not based on fanfictions. The fanfictions are based on stories. Sorry if I didn't make that clear..
 fanfictions typically have nothing to do with stories other than the fact that they use the characters. come to think of it, they aren't always about stories, sometimes, they're about internet personas (at least the type of fanfic i'm referring to, idk about u)

fanfictions are great because everything just turns out the way you want it to and you can just search whatever you want and it will be there and ah its so lovely when a ship canons.

i like reading johnlock, destiel, doctor who (not necessarily shippish) and yes we share a liking for harry potter fics! im an active writer on fanfiction.net but i dont really like sharing my username on here hah.

i do enjoy reading fanfictions a lot and i think they are really creative and most of them are original, i like reading fanfictions based on some ships. +1
