Abu's Civil War story inspired me to write this. This is basically my twisted version of the battle of York, which happened in the War of 1812 . P.S. I'm going to Fort York tomorrow with my class.
It was a cold afternoon, like most in the winter of Upper Canada. I was walking by Fort York, which hadn't been attacked by the rebels yet. My mistake, they aren't rebels anymore. They are Americans, and they declared war on us. I had to flee from Washington D.C. because clearly, they did not like the loyalists. It was snowing hard which played an advantage for us. The Americans were not used to snow as much as we were, so it gave us an advantage. We also won the battles previously and most of our troops were out with Sir Isaac Brock. My group had to defend Fort York, and with only 700 of us, the Americans could easily take us on. To be honest, I was worried. Soon, I find out I had the right reason to be worried.
cliff hangers are awesome
