I started in 2012,
Before everything was animated,I seemed to enjoy it.The puffles were the first thing that caught my eye as an animation one morning when I logged on.Then, the clothes started changing.New mascots and parties.I liked it when it was much simpler.I loved having the memberships too.I'm now known as an old penguin with rare items from some of the old catalogs. When the puffle hotel released is when I left for this community.I find it a lot more simpler.

Funny, because if you joined in 2012, you never even expierenced the old edition of Club Penguin.
The big controversial overhaul was done in late 2011.

The only thing Disney ruined is my childhood
And innocence.. Also about CP @Hashir. I think they ruined the animation and raised the prices 5 bucks for memberships. And they have the same parties but if you want to fool around then squad goals.

I see where this is going now, Disney is a good company tbh and they just wanted to help him build this game named Club Penguin, they helped him build servers enough for enough penguins. If Disney didn't help, DSGHQ probably wouldn't be here

I wasn't really here for oldcp, but with my background knowledge the thing that bothers me the most is the lack of parties/creativity, also the community could improve. Most of their parties are repeats, and I feel like there is less and less to do considering mostly everything is for members.
Hi I'm Maybe. I swim a lot. Then I eat a lot. then I sleep. then repeat.

Hello,
A lot of people say Disney ruined CP and it always always annoys me. Want to know why? Club Penguin was going to need to expand and needed an experience partner, which Disney became. Therefore Disney actually helped keep Club Penguin alive instead of ruining it. I know most of us playing DSGHQ today wouldn't be on this game if Club Penguin was never here after 2007 in the first place.
Here's some background information about Club Penguin: http://rocketsnail.com/blog/2011/02/21/experimenting-with-penguins/
After reading this, do you still think Disney ruined CP?

Disney improved CP, but it had a cost, membership.
They couldn't make it better without a cost, everything has a cost.
