It's a matter of property. I'm pro-choice, because you own your body, therefore you can do whatever you want with it.
Some will surely say "it's your body but not your life", but after all, what is life?
A key concept for life, in biology, is autopoiesis, which is the capacity of a being to produce itself. A fetus does not have autopoiesis, it depends completely on the environment provided by the pregnant woman.
Therefore, it is her choice to provide that environment.
And to those who say that abortion is murder, the definition of murder is "to kill an extrauterine life".

If a woman is raped or cannot care for the child, she can just put him/her up for adoption to find a family that can. why in the world should someone carry a child produced by a crime for 9 months? that would be painful mentally and physically for the woman, its not only the reminder of a horrific event, but the worst possible outcome of it too

Adding to this, its actually easier and/or less expensive for Americans to adopt children who are from other countries than in the USA. Pretty messed up.

i am pro-choice, i also believe that the mother is more important than the child,. the cause that leads to pregnancy is because a man wants control more than pleasure, and obviously affects on the woman are permanent. plus the mother is carrying the burden of constant vomiting and using the bathroom, internal heat, limiting food all for something that wasn't part of her agenda. therefore she should get rid of it. majority of women abort a child before it feels nerves, 18-20 weeks.

a lot the men that made it illegal have tied it with religion, but their reasonings are trash. one guy said "God made it that way for women to be used by men." a pro-life representative resigned and switched to pro-choice after having an affair and getting the woman pregnant. the hypocrisy is real. kinda proves how they all are against it until it falls on them. in summary, men should not be making decisions on women without knowing all the facts.

I’m pro choice. It really isn’t society’s business what a woman or man choose to do with their body. There are multiple reasons why someone might get an abortion, so at the end of the day whatever decision they make, it’s not our business!

Don’t like abortions? Don’t get one! If it conflicts with your morals then don’t get one. Personally I don’t know what I would do if I had to come face to face with a decision like that.

But there are women and men out there who need that choice if they are facing life threatening situations. There are a lot of factors to consider, you can’t just go straight into believe they are monsters.

I do agree that abortions are morally conflicting like you don’t need to point out the obvious but so is forcing a mother to give birth.

You can’t judge this type of issue or decision until you are put face to face with that type of decision. Until you share the same experiences millions of women and men around the world had to face when they made the decision of getting an abortion.

Yet abortion can cause an increased risk of anxiety and depression. Not only that, but they also have to live with the fact that they supported the death of a fetus living in their womb. Abortion can also be physically painful for the woman as well as the fetus. Rape is one of the few valid arguments of pro-choice. Besides that, women should be more responsible if they don't want to become pregnant.
