DON'T READ THIS POST IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON WATCHING BORUTO! I won't spoil much, but be warned!

okay first off: the characters.
Boruto is an angsty kid, and his name makes me think of burritos. he has mostly good intentions, but the way he goes about it, isn't what i would consider a nice way.

Sarada is determined, and at first all she wanted was to find her dad (Sasuke) to find out the truth (if she was really his and Sakura's daughter, which in the end she was. but it's funny, she looks the hell of a lot like Karin Uzumaki.) her name reminds me of the spanish word for salad (ensalada). she's cool tho.

Shikadai is literally a reincarnation of his father, Shikamaru. looks and all. the "what a drag" personality, the pineapple lookin' hairstyle, everything. he's just like me.

Mitsuki is... well... something. what them arms do, boy?

Inojin is a perfect combination of his parents, Ino and Sai. he has Ino's hair, and Sai's eyes, as well as Sai's super beast scroll. he's chill, i like him.

Iwabe is probably my favorite character, he's tough, but has trouble in the studying department.

the daddy issues club: Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki.

there's so many other characters, but i am too lazy to name all the ones with names.

second, the opening and closing. the opening is actually pretty catchy, i like it. the closing is pretty good too, it's cute.

third, the animation style is great.

fourth, the plot and story. honestly, the plot moved a little quick, at least the original Naruto and Naruto Shippuden moved along a bit slower than Boruto does. while the anime itself is pretty entertaining, the story really does move just a tad fast. it's not particularly a bad thing, but sometimes it's better to let the information sink into the watcher's brain before moving on. in this case, the watcher barely has enough time to understand what's going on in the show, it moves that fast.

i'm not too far into the show (only about in the chunin exams arc), but i know what happens during the one on one fights, though i won't spoil that for anyone who may plan on watching the show. all i'll say is that Naruto tears Boruto's headband off his head.

overall, Boruto isn't that bad of an anime, if you ignore the quickly moving story. some scenes are just downright amazing, like when Naruto and Sasuke fight together, they both have gotten so much stronger since Shippuden. another scene i wouldn't call AMAZING, but it was definitely cool, was when Himawari activated her Byakugan. the way it happened was... something... but seeing Himawari, the cute little sister of Boruto, angry enough that her Byakugan activates, is a little bit scary.

out of 10, i would rate Boruto at a solid 7. while the story is interesting, some of the characters are just copies of their parents (cough, Shikadai). also, some scenes are just repeats of what Naruto did in his childhood (such as Boruto vandalizing his dad's stone face on the Hokage mountain). it gets annoying after a while of seeing a kid drawing on the stone faces of the Hokages. HOWEVER, the anime DOES have some great things, which i already talked a little about, as to not spoil too much for people who potentially want to watch the show.
