It can work like this: You can deposit your snaildom gold, and withdraw it from the bank. You can also transfer your gold from forums to snaildom, but doing that, there is a 95% tax, because forums gold gives an unfair advantage over the items, making you easily able to buy things.

From 5000 gold, you can buy alot of things, pretty much everything. With a 95% tax, you can only get around 250 gold from that, which makes you able to buy few things, and wont corrupt the economy. Nowadays, forums gold is really easy to get because of empire simulator, and that can be easily exploited. This is a easy issue to fix that. (or just remove forums gold transfers entirely)

I have/had 100k forums gold, and it was easy to get for me. If someone transfers that to snaildom, the economy would be broken insanely. But with a 95% tax, you only get 5000 through. (nobody would do this much though)

Once you deposit your gold into the bank, you earn 5% interest of what you have every week. This makes people want to keep their gold into their bank even more.



To avoid losing your gold once you die, you can create a permanent bank account, that any account can use if given the password. People can leak this, though, so don't give your bank account to anyone. (also make it a little more secure than I did in this example)

Another feature: Gambling

You can go to the casino, in the Market Village to gamble and gain gold



The gambling system, will have a room, and many machines that you can gamble with, as well as a game where you bet gold with other players.

Next feature: Casino NPC bets

You can face off against the casino NPC in poker, (the game right of the room)
and he bets maybe 25% of what you bet, and if you win, you get that gold.

Overall, I think this would be a great addition to snaildom, and would make the game alot more competitive, as well as making people play more.

There should be a quest for this too on snaildom, maybe a civillian lost to poker and lost all his gold because the opposition snail cheated and the civillian asks you to go get the money back you play for the money or just take it back for a reward.
