Regardless if this was a joke or not, to me this wasn't funny or silly "irony" nor was it cute or trendy. I'm not even apart of the lgbtq community and yet I kinda wanted to vommit, I truly didnt think people joked around like this in 2020 but anyway its hella cute. Also just gonna throw in that the word "luv" was banned on the discord server for no other reason than that Chelsey doesnt like me. I never used the word in an inapp way but only saying it in regards towards a human being for example "hello luv". I know this post is prolly gonna get taken down but oh well! I bit my tongue the first time chelsey tried to be "funny" when I asked her why one of my other posts was taken down and she replied with an answer that was false and then when I contradicted her she said "don't care, didnt ask" and sent me a weird ass anime song or something who even knows. Anyway LUVS hope you enjoyed reading these sexy messages that were SUPER funny I almost pissed my pants. Happy Pride Month I luv you luvs

Pride month was a thing made by and made for LGBT people. It’s not a Holliday... it’s a community driven thing to show empowerment and self love. You’re not obligated to take part in it or care about it so just let people have their fun.

So i'm allowed to express my heterosexuality without being insulted. cause many people have done that and we've been called homophobic.
And to be fair, its a bit homophobic that its called LGBT. I dont see straight there?

No one said you're not allowed to express your hetorosexuality so stop brining up random points just to play the victim.
You and others were called homophobes for bullying and teasing others but their sexuality and you cant deny your behavior.. When Dice and I got married; It was quite apparent that multiple people were trying to tease Dice over our fake online marriage.
You're not not allowed to have an opinion on why or why not people want to have their own events or holiday. LGBT people have been oppressed for so many years ... things you wouldn't know of yet your biggest struggle is being called a homophobe... grow up.
You're an annoying person who just wants to make the lgbt community look bad.

Here's a bit of history:
For those of you confused or angered over the existence of pride month, correct me if I'm wrong, it was founded to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Riots sparked by the anger of the LGBTQ+ Community after law enforcement raided their bar and mocked a woman for wearing masculine clothing. Pride exists today to show solidarity, awareness and respect for those in the LGBTQ+ Community. Many people in the LGBTQ+ Community have this month to be proud of who they are without fear of retribution and to acknowledge the wins and losses they faced while fighting for liberation. As a matter of fact, here's what the colors on the flag stand for:
Red: Life
Orange: Healing
Yellow: Sunlight
Green: Nature
Blue: Serenity
Purple: Spirit
More recently the colors of black and brown were added.
Black: Diversity
Brown: Inclusivity
While many people may not like or appreciate their sexualities or relationships you could at the very least respect their history. Everyone is a human being, regardless of race, gender-preference, gender, etc. and they should not be looked down upon for how they choose to live their lives. As Chis said, a point which I cannot help but agree with, LGBTQ+ people have faced oppression and hatred of the heterosexual community for many years on end. Children of same-sex parentage were slaughtered. People were literally hunted down and murdered. A young boy was dragged tied to a truck while straight men laughed drunkenly for miles. And for what reason did they deserve such horrific deaths? For Loving those of the same gender, changing their genders because they did not feel comfortable and were insecure?
For those of you saying 'Well why isn't heterosexuality brought up', people who are heterosexual do not have to face the same fears as someone in the LGBTQ+ community. They don't have to fear for their lives, they don't have to fear disownment or pity from the people they love, they don't have people tell them to go to hell just for loving someone of their gender. They don't have to fight for their right to marry. They don't have silly little boys make harmful jokes about their sexualities. They don't get up every morning wondering if it'll be their last, or if they'll be the target of a hate-crime.
I have and always will respect the members of the LGBTQ+ community and while I understand everyone has been raised to hold different beliefs, I have been taught to respect a person no matter what. Homophobic behavior genuinely disgusts me and it angers me to an extent that I cannot describe in words.
That's just my two cents. I felt I needed to say that and I am in no way/shape/form degrading anyone for their beliefs. I respect you all regardless of what you believe but I just had to say that. Happy Pride Month to all who are celebrating.

i personally feel uncomfortable expressing my sexual orientation and gender identity nowadays because of homophobic people. a lot of people are unaccepting of LGBTQ people in this community when this community is supposed to be a safe place for everyone and it's supposed to be inclusive. there are rules set in place whose goal is to provide a safe place where people can be free. i mean no disrespect here, why is one of the well-known administrators not following them? yes, I do understand and respect the fact that everyone has their own beliefs but whenever people are getting hurt over them it starts to bug me. doesn't it say in the community values that we should respect each other, regardless of their age, gender, race, beliefs, and views and to treat others the way we want to be treated?
happy pride month to LGBTQ people within the community, I respect all of you and I hope you stay safe. you're all in my thoughts
