I'm actually curious to see how people respond to this. Did you prefer OldCP years ago or is it better now? I personally liked it better years ago, only because CZ is so confusing now and I've died multiple times, lol. But, I'm still a fan as I've made more friends now than when I played years ago. So what are your thoughts? Now or Then?

Back in 2013 and 2014, Crimezone was easier to understand and you could actually be apart of it, and the game was more vibrant and busy, so I'd say I prefer the past than now.

However, on a personal level, I like the game now because I actually have friends I can talk to. Of course, I barely remember 2013 - 2018. I found that I enjoyed other games such as Snailschat, Snaildom, and Penguin Isles in 2013 - 2014 than OldCP, so.

then it sucks now

Kind of preferred it back then. People seemed to be more involved. And roles like knight had more of a meaning because it was one of the few ways you could get armed and they also took the knight code much more seriously. It was the only rank I wanted for a long time. Now a lot of ranks seem pretty meaningless and people dint take the roles very seriously at all. These days aren’t all bad though, it’s nice the game is a little more chill in some aspects.

I liked it back then because my real friends actually played, now my only old friends that play are lush and killer, both which i dont see too much of anymore

i think there's a line between both. at one point in time oldcp was taken way more seriously, which is good and bad, because now the game is way more relaxed, but hardly anything feels like an actual accomplishment. i'd have to say that like 2017-2018 were the best years when it comes to having a mix between the way oldcp was before and the way it is now

Definitely then, it was just so much fun. Maybe its because I was younger, but back in 2012/13 I had such a joy for OldCP, and genuinely enjoyed chatting with friends on here about the most stupid things. Now that everyone has grown, it just isn't the same, and the humor is just a lot different. People are power hungry. Back then, no one cared about ranks, status, or weapons (they did not even exist), only their friends and having a good time... isn't that kind of the point?
