Recap - Live Rap Battle
Greetings. Welcome to another segment of Moo News. This is issue number ten and we are here to spill all the coffee.
On the fourth of August, Damen published a new event about hosting a rap competition. For more information on it, feel free to click here.
Live Rap Battle
On the ninth of August, the competition was streamed live on Damen’s YouTube channel. Four people participated; Alex (Bakon), Baffed, Candy, Kace and Khal. Before the event commenced, these four were obligated to join the DSGHQ Rap Battle server. The winner would receive a title on OldCP and a badge on forums.
Kace
He was first in line.
Commentary from the audience.
The audience fairly gave a moderate score.
Lil Khal K
Alex was supposed to be second in line, but he was facing technical issues. Khal took his place.
Commentary from the audience.
His rap lasted around three minutes. His topic and purpose of his rap was to ‘diss’ or call out on his rap enemies, the other competitors. Things were going well with Lil Khal K. The majority from the audience’s side seemed to enjoy it. So far, he got the highest score.
Alex
Finally, he got back up on his feet and took the spot.
Commentary from the audience.
Although he mentioned that he was nervous, the audience were impressed by his skills. He received fairly high scores.
Candy
After Alex, Candy was up next.
It turned out that Candy did not officially participate. She was part of the event, but decided to troll Damen and the audience with it. She was confused with how the voice call functioned. As soon as she figured it out, she played a random song. Damen knew something was off about it and decided to skip to the next participant.
Baffed
She was last to compete in the event.
She made a special appearance because she was not on the server. She utilized a British voice translator to present her rap. In her rap, she mentioned that she wrote it in under three minutes. Not only I, but the audience seemed to be impressed by it.
Commentary from the audience.
Results
Near the end of the event, Damen was counting up the scores from various people from the audience in order to determine its champion. It was a very close call between Alex, Lil Khal K and Baffed.
After a few minutes, the scores were posted onto the screen.
Congratulations to Lil Khal K for being the champion. He accumulated a score of 9.4 points. He has now received his title of ‘Rap God’ and badge on forums.
Wait, that is not all.
After-Party
Alatar made a surprise appearance to show off his rapping skills.
The audience were having the time of their life. It was a very interesting time, considering how Alatar shouted into the microphone and recited lines from a commercial.
Commentary from the audience.

Interview
I had the opportunity to interview the champion, Lil Khal K. He was given three questions.
Question #1: How did you feel before the event? Were you nervous?
Answer: I was extremely nervous. Idk (I don’t know) if anyone could tell. I was shaking ngl (not going to lie), but I was ready, yk (you know)? It was a good kind of nervous.
Question #2: There are rumors out there that you stole lyrics from a rap. Any comment on that?
Answer: Yes, I have a lot to say about that. I stole some lyrics from VI Seconds and I owned up to it. Not every lyric was stolen. The ones that were, I rephrased them and about that, I feel bad. At the end of the day, Damen made the comp (competition) for me. I was the one who asked. I am the one making albums. One rap comp (competition) doesn’t show the winner. What shows the winner is the dedication and the hard work they put into pursuing rapping.
Later, Khal was interrupted by George. George came in to congratulate him. Khal continues:
Khal
George
Answer: It’s not about one comp (competition), it’s about the hard work.
Answer: That leads up to all of this. Just don’t let the trolls bother you, man. There is a lot of em’ (them). Ignore the trolls, log off if you have to.
Answer: People are gonna hate, but at the end of the day, I put in the hard work. They were gonna get upset if I lost, so it’s a lose-lose situation.
Question #3: How would you feel if this competition were to be held in the future? Would you like to be the judge in the competition?
Answer: Yes, I’d like to judge the comp because I am never gonna step being Rap God.
Answer: Or would you like to defend your title as Rap God?
Answer: Even if I do, I’m always going to be the Rap God. I might as well judge it. In fact, I have news. I’m gonna be hosting rap battles and teaching to the community. The community needs more music. I’m gonna teach people how to freestyle and not cop (steal) lyrics. At the end of the day, we all make mistakes. It’s how we grow from those mistakes. I’m always gonna be the Rap God because I’m Lil Khal K.
Thank you for participating in the interview Khal and George!

Thank you to everyone who either participated or spectated the event! We all had a fun time. Once again, congratulations to Khal for winning the competition.

Fantastic report CoffeeCow
I must say, I wasn't quite expecting it to be that successful. It was gonna be cringe but not as much as I thought in the end.
