Good morning from Switzerland (I'm here for Christmas cuz Ireland's a mess atm),

Today we had a fun joust for Warlord and Damen was found in the end. He was just updating P3D lol.

So.. about the joust, or maybe jousts in general, there are a couple things that I see in a lot of jousts and honestly I know it's hard to avoid but at the same time it's kind of unfair. We talk about this a lot on discord and oldcp so I just thought I would make a post.

Disclaimer: No hate to any of the people involved in the joust in this post. I'm just using you guys as examples to show the do's and don'ts of jousting. You are free to disagree with me or suggest anything. Btw, I was softcaramel in the joust incase you didn't know lol

The Do's

If you're standing at the bottom, jousting the person nearest to you is the best option if it happens. It's fair and it'll showcase your strength better :)

This is a good, standard way of how jousts should be. Softcaramel and iloveorange fight while the other 3 wait until whoever strikes first. The person not jousting would be smarter to wait rather than killing off good competition. Plus, everyone will lose health anyway.

Apologising to ur AFK friend after killing them. Impressive, because it's difficult to type during jousts while having to maintain your fighting skills. Do it at your own risk :100:

Again as it gets closer to the end, things should still be fair as seen in this photo

Waiting it out. People often complain about this but it's common for winners to win this way and I can't really say it's unfair unless they wait out the whole or most of the joust.

Yes, that is necessary, Mr. Spike

As mentioned, instead of attacking from behind you can wait until who wins the 1v1. It's better than teaming on someone.

Okay, with the Do's done... it's time to move on to the Don'ts. Brace your flippers (/f 49)

The Don'ts

Right so, Sugar came and fought in the joust but kinda died 3 seconds later cuz I mean.. just look at this abuse LOOOL - I think it is common for players to want to kill someone they know, like or don't like, it can still be unfair though.

One of the most common complaints as mentioned.. the infamous 2 v 1. Sometimes it's not always teaming, players want easier or harder targets dead to get rid of competition

And the worst of all... A 3 V 1!!! Not to sound biased but just look at this :( . In the other side's defense, I will say that standing in the middle is dangerous and the easiest place to kill people. However, I was being teamed on at the bottom and had no choice but to go up then ig that happened.

telling ur m8 to surrender. No. FIGHT FOR IT!!!

So ig to conclude, no teaming, don't wait out the whole or most of the joust until u attack, don't surrender to ur friend or ask them to surrender, oh and if you click on someone just move the playercard off the screen so u don't get stuck. If someone is AFK, yes kill them xD. Most of all, fight w all u got :)

Okay that's it. If u guys have anything to add u can comment but im js we all have complained about these over the past few years and I just thought it would be interesting to point out. Congrats to Wilf on winning. We will be watching u as u said in the vc lol
