Yesterday, I hosted the Race Around the World event on Penguin3D. Essentially, it was a flying race that began in Das and ended in the Island.

The beginning was rough, since Damen banked too hard and crashed. People were confused and kept going on even though we were planning on restarting. However, Damen kept strong and began flying again. Kace was in a big lead.

Kace touched down in Ach-To and Damen a few minutes later. I had taken the Eclipse, the fastest plane in the game, to spectate everybody. Kace’s touchdown was quite beautiful. Hammy would reach Ach-To later.

Kace was the first to reach Dorval, of course, and it was a quick touch and go. He had only stayed on the ground for around 8 seconds before flying off to his next destination and I had the pleasure to witness the beautiful moment. Damen landed in Dorval just minutes later and picked up about 5 more people when landing, which meant there were about 8 people in a Beckett with 3 seats. Hammy landed in Dorval later.

Kace was in a handsome lead when landing in Providence. He landed and left before Damen had even entered the room. Once Damen entered it, he was about to land on a strip of land away from the runway in the middle of the island, but landed in the water. Luckily, his plane did not blow up. He spawned a new one and began his journey to Axel.

Due to Axel Island being North of Providence, it would be to just do a 180 and fly South to the Island. However, Kace was confused and flew straight forward North, which eventually made him end up in Dorval. He then flew South. This made Damen a bit closer to Kace.

Kace landed in the Island first and Damen landed a few minutes after him. Once everyone had regrouped, Damen stated that, as a prize for winning, Kace would receive a custom plane for himself. Kace chose an Earth Army Dropship.
