I like this subject because It makes me see how far ive gotten,
I was fat growing up, lost a lot of weight through highschool. And during my last year, i was very skinny. Then when my last year of high school ended, I started working as a scaffolders laborour, and i underestimated how much heavy lifting was involved, and it was literaly 95% of the work, for 8 hours, 7-8 days a week. and in literally weeks I put on so much muscle. I got a bigger chest, and bigger arms. I look completely different.

i havent worked out lately but i wanna get back into it. i have a home gym that costed around $5,000 to make.
i have a squat rack, bench press, pulley machine, adjustable dumbbells, and some other stuff
I used to work out about 5 days a week and i noticed a HUGE difference. I gained weight and got a lot of definition and overall i just look WAYYY better than i used to. It was nice to hear others tell me they see a lot of improvement as well.
it helps you gain a lot of confidence and just feel much better about urself so it's great

Nah No longer skinny. Cause of the constant shifting and moving about with things that weighed a lot , for 8 hours a day.
And You have to eat a lot since your body is constantly burning calories at a rapid rate, leaving you hungry.
So its mostly down to how determined you are to put your body through pain

i had the same struggle about gaining weight because ive been extremely skinny literally my entire life. Others eat a slice of pizza and gain weight but then i do that and its like i lost 3 pounds cuz i didnt eat more
my advice is to literally just eat more even though it sounds really hard but it's doable. I had to eat A LOTTT to gain weight and it took a while but i put on like 15 pounds. Protein shakes help a lot and just planning ur meals can help too

i go on runs every morning at 4:30 AM and i work out three times a day. morning workout is just stretching/yoga, then full body when im done w homework and then night is more stretching/yoga. i've been doing the same routine for 2 years and ive lost so much weight, i look so much better than i did back then.
im gonna tryout for softball in a few months so there's that too. i've been training for that for a while now. and i've been bowling since i was eight.
running is def not my strong suit but its calming and it helps me build better endurance in school because our hallways are massive and it's so much walking as it is.
i'm starting a weightlifting class in a few days, as of now the only weights thing i've been able to do is that bowflex thing but with my legs, i can do up to 180 on it. strong legs. < 3

I use to use my fast metabolism as an excuse to being skinny. Believe it or not your metabolism isn't always a key factor.
The reason your not gaining weight from eating 'a lot' is because you're body receives a certain amount of calories a day. And to gain weight, you must do what is called a calories surplus. Which is where you eat more than your average amount of calories your body takes. But if you don't keep fit, it will turn into fat, so work your body enough till you sweat, and you will see changes.
