Somehow went from being a barber to working in HR which means I can afford a good gaming pc like ive wanted since before i existed

If anyone has a setup or at least knows anythin about specs, can u give ur input

I mainly just wanna know if Nvidia RTX 3060/3070 is actually worth having or if its overkill. Also, is Intel Core ix better than AMD Ryzen? Does the CPU matter much when it comes to gaming/video editing performance

Will Chrome single-handedly blow up my entire computer like it does every time i open it right now?

idc about having crazy high fps i just want all games to be playable even if they're really demanding. I also want smooth video editing/graphic designing/overall everyday use. I know a fair amount about this stuff from research but wanna hear from someone who maybe has more experience with building or buying PCs

Mainly asking here because I know theres people in the community who 3d model and animate and render images etc etc. Did u guys need to buy high-end PCs or was anything fine? I usually use my mac for all those things but end up freezin every 5 seconds

RYX 3060/70 Yeah they're op, but is it worth the price? Are you gonna push that gpu to its limits or actually play games that require rtx and other awesome effects.

get at least 32 GB of ram or 64. (Ram prices are getting cheaper.)

1-3tb SSD (Or more. Depending on your budget) they are extremely fast, and will over power your hard drive 500x

CPU. If you wanna do rendering and stuff, And you wanna do it fast. Get A ryzen 7. They are Awesome for rendering stuff.

But this all depends if you wanna take 3d modelling to the extreme ygm.

These are my specs

Gtx 1050 Ti 4gb Vram

Ryzen 5 2600

1tb Hard Drive

16 GB Vengence ddr4 Ram.

And tbf, it runs blender well.

Use Linux, windows is filled with bloat, also use Firefox with Duckduckgo, less CPU usage

Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

See, so if you are tryna get a desktop and you get it built or pre-built the graphics cards will be more expensive than a REALLY GOOD gaming computer. On terms of your questions, 3060-3070 is very worth it. I have a 3060 on a MSI GE76 Raider 11-UE. Let me tell you, It's worth it. In terms of the Intel v AMD, It depends. I would recommend AMD if you are gonna be super speedy and the second you turn it on you open like 7 windows on chrome or not it doesn't matter, I would recommend if you prefer quality over flashyness, intel would be the choice. I would recommend a laptop instead of a desktop. For the price of a 3060-3070 alone is the price of a FULLY GAMING+++++++++++ PRO laptop with a 3060-3070. If you take my advice, You will be able to avoid having saying or seeing the "CPU-GPU GO BRR".

LOL I'm just obsessed with computer stats and parts.

If you prefer to go with a desktop(ugh): https://xoticpc.com/products/msi-meg-aegis-ti5-12vtf-027us
If you prefer a laptop: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/msi-stealth-gs66-15-6-360hz-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i9-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070ti-1tb-ssd-32gb-memory-black/6494335.p

Good luck mah friend.
