Glarthir and Nook have really dropped the ball with writing people's childhood stories so I will write them instead. THIS IS TOTALLY 100 PERCENT CANNON!
On a stormy day on Das, yet another goblin baby was born to Gothmog (the former Goblin God). This one he had with Robertamog, who was considered to be very ugly, even by goblin standards. Robertamog named her newborn baby Miromeski. She did not get to keep her baby for long though as Gothmog had decided this son of his was special. So Gothmog took Miro to his tower and raised him himself for a time. He took his son sailing with him when he sailed to various islands where he would trade goods for souls for Pythas.
When Miro was 4 years old, Gothmog got sick and died. Miro was so upset that he tried to throw himself into the ocean! Luckily for him, he was found and taken in by a local group of witches who were living in the Forest of Lucre. After awhile the witches got tired of looking at this goblin child and they desired to turn him into something more pleasing to look at. So the witches experimented with spells to change the goblin child into a human child. These experiments caught the eye of Pythas and so he sent Numenial, the Witch Nazgul, to go and assist the witches of Lucre.
After many years of experimenting to turn Miro into a human, the witches gave up. But they were still tired of looking at him so they cast several layers of illusion spells over him to give him the outward appearance of a man. After this, Miro grew tired of living with the witches and being their test subject. He decided he wanted to live in normal society so he stowed away on one of the merchant ships and left Das. He stayed on the ship for several months where he survived by eating scraps. He saw many lands such as Providence, Dorval, and Cobia.
Miro grew tired of living the life of a stowaway and got off the ship when it landed in the North. Miro almost instantly regretted his decision of starting a new life in the North as he almost died of hypothermia a few hours after getting off of the ship. But he was saved when a group of mountain people found him and took him in. These mountain people were moving south and Miro decided to move with them, and he finally settled in the South.
Over time, even Miro forgot that he was actually a goblin. He thought perhaps his goblin childhood was just a memory devised by witchcraft. It wasn't until after Miro drank all those potions in the Goblin Labs on Providence that the illusion spells would finally break and his true identity was revealed.
