This thing is a very annoying thing, for me since my laptop sucks even with very low graphics and no realistic illumination.
I mean, this new thing, that when someone holds click with a sword, I think it's supposed to have a stronger hit... It spends a bit of force (/f) and makes the player to move 1 step ahead. I'm going to pretend that it's named "Force hit".
So why is this Force hit annoying?
As I already said, I have a trash laptop, and my game goes laggy, so even if I do a simple 'click', if the room has many objects, it lags my game a bit, and it acts like if I would have held a click, I mean, I make a force hit even with a simple click, and it makes fighting harder for the moves the player does.
Even sometimes, when I'm spamming click, my player doesn't even do anything with the weapon, or it hits like 0.5 times per second (I mean, 1 time per 2 seconds.), so I think the force hit has something to do with this, and that's so annoying.
Also, mining. Why are force hits also applied for mining? is that a mistake or something? When someone is mining, and they accidentally do a force hit, it happens exactly the same thing, and the only difference on this is that since the hand item is a pickaxe (or a hammer) it doesn't damage, and it's so annoying to try to mine and the player barely hits the wall, or keeps moving steps ahead.
I don't know if people find the force hit usefull, so I'm going to suggest something.
Maybe a feature in settings about force hits, if it's disabled, then even if people hold a click, it will work like a simple click. If it's enabled (Something that I will never do.) then this will be still working.
