The bell rang, and teenagers were bursting out the door like angry bulls. "O-m-g, practicing geo? As if!" Tiffany huffed to her friend, Claire. "Call me tomorrow, okay Wendy?" my friend, Idah, explained. "Yeah, I will Idah..." I said while staring at my crush, Drake. I haven't told him a thing. We are only friends, and the whole 7 years of being close friends, he never suspected a thing. Or -- at least -- I think so. Everyone packed their locker decorations and ran to the buses. "Summer. Summer. Summer." the word pounded in my head like a loud speaker. Then there was Tiffany, the SHARK with lip gloss, designer hand bags, and beautiful blond hair that was as shiny as the sun! She smiled and giggled at Drake. I couldn't tell if Drake was uncomfortable-- or enjoying Tiffany's gushy mushy sassy flirting! Then Tiffany reached in her hand bag, digging for something... "NO! Not her number! No no no!" I thought, bitting my lip. I thought about marching over there and interrupting before I saw stage 1 of my romance being ruined! Before I had a chance to breathe, Tiffany gave him a beautifully wrapped card! It had a shiny purple wrapping on it, with an amazing silk-yellow ribbon carefully around it. Hmm....
Drake looked all smiles when he received it. He smiled and studied it happily! But, when I thought things couldn't get any worse, that little woman gave one to my friend, Idah! Then thats when Claire walked up to me like she owned the place or something! And said ...
"This is for you, I hope you can make it to the summer party!" She said smiling while handing me one of the gorgeous cards.
"Um..." I stared at her in thought, I didn't move a muscle, I just stared at the card she shoved in my face.
"WELL!? Are you gonna SIT THERE like a confused brainless gorilla or take it!?" She screamed.
JUST GREAT! !!!
"Oh, I'm sorry, its just so pretty! I wanted to take a good look at it" I said trying to keep my cool.
"Well it would look A LOT better if you could TAKE IT!" She scolded again. I quickly snatched it from her. On the back read-
